Love this little gem, nice survival struggle.

Early access done right, they've stuck to the road map and it's coming along nicely.

To sum it up in a word...EPIC!

This is the first time I've felt the need to praise a game in a review. Studio Wildcard actually deserve the support.

The Devs are awesome, giving constant and regular updates and they actually listen to the community. You can tell they really care for their game. After being stung by The Stomping Lands, I was hesitant but I have been playing since launch and have loved every bit of it, worth every penny. This is how Early Access is supposed to be done, they've truly raised the bar for other Devs to try and reach. Good luck with that! :D

Yes it can be a bit of a hog to run, requiring a decent rig to see its full potential, it's seriously beautiful when cranked up. Since launch I have been able to crank it from medium to high/epic with the same FPS so there has definitely been improvements with more to come I'm certain over the planned year of development before release on all platforms.

My favourite part is probably the progression, it feels great. Starting with nothing naked on the beach, slowly bettering yourself until you have a full modern technology metal base, plumbed in with water and wired with electric from your generator, running lights, fridges, machines etc. along with all manner of tamed creatures to do your bidding. This game has depths other EA survival games can only dream of.

If you have the means to run this game, why the heck aren't you already! :)
