Recension av CS:GO
750 hours later of playing this game (on my smurf account of course, cuz who isn't one, right?) it has become my most favorite game. Sure, I'll jump on GTA V or Rainbow Six: Siege or Killing Floor 2 for a bit. But in the end, CS:GO is my go-to game. I really only play on Dust2 and Office, cuz I only know those two maps the best and I don't wanna spend a buncha time trying to learn others.
Community can be toxic, but at least they're vocal about it. I've been on Siege and Killing Floor 2 for entire games at a time with absolutely no communication other than type-chat. It really immersifies the gaming experience when you can share how your day went with another teammate. Although, before the update awhile back that changed the ability to hear the opponents voice chat in competitive mode, it was 10x more fun trash-talking them in warmup, only to find out they are way better than you and 16-3 your a$$.
There will be haters, hackers, and smurfs that you encounter along the road, but if the CS:GO world was all rainbows and sunshine, it'd get a little boring. Every now and then we need to get our butts kicked or pro skills hacked against cuz that keeps us a little humble. Humility is good.
I say this in game too, sometimes, but it seems like we are losing sight of what a game is really supposed to be: fun. It has slowly turned into a competitive style of gaming where people end up throwing mouses at their computer screens, or binge eating on ice cream while watching their teammates play the rest of the round, or just simply rage quitting. A game, at its core, should be fun. With that said - GL HF.
