NA CS is frag-centric. It's pretty much a deathmatch. EU CS is bomb centric: everything revolves around the bomb, playing the bomb, playing the plant, playing the defuse. North Americans want to win, yes, but they want to maximize the damage/frags they make every round that when they win they can have the most RWS/best scoreline. NA teams fall into a default to "work picks" whereas EU teams fall into a default for map control and INFORMATION and then execute TOGETHER.

I like calm, upbeat, confident play/communication style with lots of communication and players working off each other, and always looking forward to the next round instead of being stuck in the past one. I like teams that hit at once, not go 1 by 1 by 1. CT side teams that back off together, or push up together and crossfire or doublepeek/flashpeek EVERYTHING.

I like rushes peppered in with fakes, but mostly I have noticed the most successful teams tend to play a default formation (1-2-2 /1-3-1, etc) t-side depending on the map and communicate back what they hear/see and THEN fall back and use one of ex6tenz's strats to execute a site together.

Poor ex6tenz. First the male enhancement pills, now this.

I really don't like the solo queue mentality, and I feel it's the cause of impotent NA CS. But, pretty much 90% of my pugs are meaningless forcebuy every round, super aggro solo queues.

"I think that's another issue with north american players, and teams, is that everyone's focused too much on frags and what they're fragging and you know, what the kdr is: but they're certain roles. If someone's going in first every round dealing 50 damage to every player he's entry fragging, calls out specifically exactly where they are and has -- you know --- really good communication, but goes 0 for 15 in a half on T half I'd still pick him over someone who's running around baiting, and getting some non-impact exit frags and looks good statistically, he's like 15-10 but you're losing it's like: who the ♥♥♥♥ cares" -- Steel
