Good game with a few bad points but worth a buy if you liked zoo tycoon 2 at all but let me do a pro and con

Pros

Realistic animals they actually climb the trees and use the enclosure to the potential offered they will even climb the fences if you use wrong type you have to put thought into closures unlike zoo tycoon games were tree were just a nice looking asset the animals In this game will sleep and play on them

Realistic needs animals cannot be ignored and some campaign scenarios are actually fun and challenging unfortunately I haven’t seem to make predators actually hunt prey yet and when they die they don’t get eaten by other animals so making a live reserve is not possible however the other animals will feed from grass and pick fruit from trees and insects from insect mounds making them fully self sustainable but meat eaters will starve to death rather than hunting prey

Plant needs you have to plant right things in right temp enclosures and zones and the right ground I liked this touch they visually die if you don’t meet there needs properly

Actually looks nice the game runs bad when you get a few animals but you overlook it when you watch a few of your animal actually fully interacting with environment and acting like living creatures

The economy in game is good you can lose money easily and go into red be banned from buying for a while making you need to balance income steadily for bigger builds

The production shops you place can produce a lot of products all you can individually price it’s very very good

The cons

The guests EVERY guest is an annoying insert any curse word here they act like the animal don’t matter all they say is there is no where to shop here when u have 20 store literally 40 steps away or I want more decorative objects or plants it feels like a garden tour bus took a wrong turn and you have to deal with there need to see plants over animals to a unreal standard you will have 50 times more trees than animals in 1 area of your park

The map is smaller or at least feels it from zoo tycoon games with a nice selection of animals you won’t fit even a quarter in a well design park usually to the guests need for a shop and plant and decoration every 4 steps

The placement no matter how hard u try placing a perfect square enclosure will drive u Crazy they will always be slightly off

The breeding of certain animals is a bit to fast I ignored my zebra for around 45minutes why I was making a gorilla enclosure I had 8 zebra when I returned due to a few messages they were falling ill I found over 12

The patching of guests is bad they will gather up on paths for no reason they start complaining there are no restrooms plants decor and shops cos they refuse to walk past a corner this is fixed later in game when you have learnt to lay paths to never go around a enclosure fully near map walls but until you figure that out this is a big issue

The performance I sit around 30 FPS with a massively built up park and I have a very powerful computer i7 7700k and 16 g ddr4 ram with a 1080ti extreme edition I blame most of this on the bloody guests need for 50 plants per square foot

That’s about it I think overall the game is worth it at full price defiantly but if your going to buy it save your money till u can buy the DLC with the game not so much the Dino dlc unless your into that but the other dlcs add a lot of animal selections and shops and without the torch’s added I wouldn’t have been able to meet guest decor need so easily overall I rate the game

7/10 losing 3 points for performance issues , annoying guests wanting so many bloody plants and decor come to see the bloody animals it’s a zoo not a garden centre and finally last point for map size

Fantastic game so far with plenty to keep you busy it's got some great visuals and well in my first few house I was flying around with 5 ships I built following me and getting into combat to protect me the fleets from what I can see can be over the top big which leads to some massive combat you can basically fly an army into a zone your at war with and proceed to destroy everything I will give you some good and bad points but even after reading them honestly it's worth every penny

Good
.simple system very descriptive and easy to learn
.devs active on forum and help out if you get confused has a great community
.fleets make you actually fell like your the commander not just some generic guy
.campaign is very nice with multiple choices and perks to alter the outcome
.be what you want pirate , freelancer, military , literally most things covered
.ships when you upgraded you feel like you've upgraded the ships visually bigger and stronger
.ships the designs look great I'd say there is something for every taste if you travel
.factions and reputation all that destroying can have a impact on how people see you

The bad

.customisation seems to be restricted to adding stickers unless I'm doing it wrong I would call that store page note worthy I was expecting to atleast to be able to paint my ships minimum
.trading doesn't feel like it's something you can do to make an empire there is no way of checking what station uses as resources and trading on a whole is just bland you can do it but you can tell however you play your eventually going to be combat based.
.fleets pretty much do all your back work civilian fleets they mine collect gasses and all that stuff you can do it yourself but doing it feels like your not meant to there just so more effective if the trade system and mining system was overhauled to manufacturing and and resource trading worked like in x3 I would have multiple vessels to mine ,salvage and collect gasses however I don't need to the game basically says go fight something I'll handle this your no trader...

Even after bad point honestly I'd still give this a 9/10 and would be solid 11/10 with a proper trade system that worked as ATM I see no reason to own a freight liner at all. I would defiantly recommend a purchase if your into space genre games like eve and x3 with mechanics of civilisation it's a brilliant game with a few feature it would be a number 1 title in genre being below big games like eve and x3 on a few points in my book is still a massive achievement

Had the game 2 days put 24 hours into it already have seen a single bug it's played perfect it's like lego meets robot wars but with military funding lol the tech controls great and u have to alter your builds a lot I spent 3 hours looking for new wheels as I put so much on my tech I couldn't climb hills anymore lol I could have removed guns but meh. Make sure u link game to twitter I read on forum u do not get other players tech invading until you do and this will require a new save and u want other people's tech if you can kill it you get some major upgrades if your lucky I went from tier 2 guns of second faction to tier 3 of best faction in one lucky spawn I highly recommend this game if your into survival free roaming with building whatever you can think up get this game now you can also build entire crafting bases that u can save to inventory and spawn them free in world,

Add anchors to your techs to charge with one button without removing anything you can literally do whatever you can think up wanna build a flying glowing lemon with a hidden cruise missile go for it.

If I treat this game like a final release I cannot recommend it at all it has a lot of performance issues I'm getting 48 FPS on a 7700k 16gb 3200 ddr4 and a 1080ti extreme edition with a massive core clock speed I play games like overwatch with card basically idle and I see issues playing this even tho gfx are not that impressive HOWEVER if I treat the game as early access which honestly it should be labelled it's fantastic it's fun to play it's a bit to easy now with patches I mean on my first tier 2 clean on new claim I got 72 oz of gold in just nuggets still have 22 buckets to process the fun parts are setting up a working mine u have to connect everything pump waters to systems connect systems together with generators it's a lot like the show however once it setup your done nothing ever breaks but from what I've heard that's coming.

The game plays like the show a lot minus the money issues and breakdowns I can't wait from breakdowns and hopefully they make it a bit harder as I can make soooo much gold in 1 day if it was this easy the entire world would be panning gold the machines and fuel usuage feels great my 400 excavator is thirsty after a days work the mud physics for buckets work well and there are safety barriers to dumping in machines so u don't lose much being a beginner

The dig tube tutorial is recommend at start of game and it's very useful if you take a loan day one u can setup a nice tier 1 system with pump and this means by day 2 you can get some of tier 2 and start making big gold there is 3 tiers and tier 3 feels amazing but gold output doesn't increase much Unless you hit hotspots which you can find by drilling the claim

My final thoughts on this is buy it if you like the show and have patience they are doing fixes and it is getting better it's defiantly playable and good fun

Ps make sure u bring your own music Spotify recommend the game music at night feels like your on x files lol

Great game defiantly worth the money has plenty to do but is a bit of a grind however when you get to level 30 u know it's all been worth it. Restoring old cars to resell or tune to use yourself on race or drag track is a lot more fun than it sounds the story missions can be hard to figure out what's wrong with the car unless you play properly and use your tools to diagnose issues.

A story mission I just did.

A customer rang saying he had issues with his car loss of power and just get worse by the day I accept the job and the next second there is a shiny motor in the entrance to my garage, I stand confused as this car looks good as new I head over to the door open it and take a seat. I turn the key and it doesn't start... so I can't test drive or test path the car I go to the hood and open it and there before me is probably the most rust engulfed engine you will ever see in your life. I know I don't want to work blindly on car so I try to get the car to start by diagnosing the issue stopping it I change starter motor and spark plugs / ignition coils then fuel pump as all are trash and try again. Still no luck I take off battery and fuel filter and go to my own car and take the needed parts. Place them on customers car and success !!! I run the test drive , test path and all diagnosis tools the realise the entire engine is as good as dead, I spend the next hours rebuilding his car with a new engine and running gear

If this sounds like something you would enjoy this is a avg day in my garage buy the game already you won't regret it just be willing to learn and use the tools provided or you will not enjoy it and read the tips when they pop up many people complain they can't put wheels on car but then say they never balanced them or ask how to rebuild a shock absorber all is explained in tips if you don't just click past them.

Great game have over 200 hours on ps4 version bought again for pc for modding more stuff. settlements are amazing 10/10

Love the game scenery is very nice trucks feel great can be fun and challenging the addition of the w-900 is very welcomed as its a very iconic truck my only issue is the game is very small in comparison to euro truck but I am sure this will be sorted during life span of game as was ets 2

Pros

Truck insurance this should have been in ets it's a great feature

Weight physics on all trailers

Cons

Map size (Dlc will fix )
Amount of trucks ( due to licensing issue there working on it )
Sounds can be low on trucks engines in cab (mod fixed for me)
Some immersion lost when stupid ai acts stupid (scs fixing)
No oversized hauls without mods ( probably always going to be the case sadly)

Amazing game must buy if you like strategy games very nice looking smooth gameplay crazy amounts of customisation. The best addition to the game is defiantly the mod support you can literally tailor game to how you want to play it.

The game will punish you for mistakes which will usually end up with Qq on forum or bad review just tell them were the alien touched you and move along.

Great loot based rpg game one of best I've played since diablo 2 the base game gets a whopping 8-10 the classes feel unique the skills feel and look great. The biggest up side is the community the mods provided by Salan known as synergies makes the game everything you could want with another bunch of classes. The mod adds raids to end game a summoner class that is very fun with around 30 pets loot looks great mostly and it's difficult and punishing.

Sorry to make this review more about the mod but it is such a big part of the game for me I cannot imagine playing without it the base classes consist of 4 classes an engineer which plays like a two harder dps in one tree a tank in another and a dps summoner in third.

The berserker is the second this class is a classic fast dual wielding hack em up dps mostly favouring fist weapons in most builds he is fast paced great mobility and can self heal and damage over time with bleeds

The embermage is a classic caster with 3 trees fire ice and storm strong dps caster with glass cannon style defence

The outlander is final class that is the ranger or gun man feels very similar to diablo 3 demon Hunter with some very similar skills good fun class

All character you make also get to pick a personal pet that can assist you in fight and run to town with loot to sell and pick stuff up for you on his shopping list this is one of my fave features in combat the pet is a bit weak but he can never die he flees till the hp regenerates then resumes combat you can also throw healing potions on him

Now my game with the easy to install mods via workshop

New elite plus difficulty
10 times harder bosses and health pools
1500 new skins for weapons and armors
200 new sets with over 15000 new combinations
Completely random affix items so every legendaries can be bad
30 new pets and skins including claptrap from borderlands
To many new bosses rare elites and new mobs

I highly recommend this game even if you do not like the base game there is mods that completely overhaul the game to suit your style

A lot of fun you are able to eventually. Buy your own car strip it down and fully rebuild it
