Now I don't write reviews as I don't typically read them personally, but as a BIG Persona and Atlus Fan I wanted to share my opinions thus far.

So far it is good like really solid, the Archetype system is very fluid and useful if you use it properly, the combat on that note also feels good its just good Persona combat with some very nice additions and tweaks (being able to just kill weak baddies is very nice for time equity and your MP)

Now as for the characters, I haven't gotten that far yet but so far they are quite enjoyable the villain makes you want to hate him and your teammates all have stories that actually give them a true reason for joining you. Now I haven't met them all yet but so far its good.

Now nothing is perfect but I wont comment on everything so far as I haven't seen it all and my gripe of the first city needing more will probably be rectified later on. Now my biggest issue is graphics, the MENU Gorgeous the characters also GORGEOUS. I don't value graphics that highly but I wish they would really hone in on a style for the open world and your surroundings, there are times where it just looks dated which is very odd with how stylish and sleek a lot of the things are.

But that's something i personally don't have a suggestion on other then an art style and trying to refine it graphically, games don't need to look photo realistic by ANY means but you can just tell that it could look better at times.

As for a score i would give it a 9/10 so far later on I might have it at a 9.5 once i actually finish it and experience it all, but i do wanna say they have made a truly amazing world in this game, if you love story or JRPG Persona games I implore you to give it a go it wont disappoint you (ALSO the English voice actors don't feel just wrong for once)

I think I have played enough to form a base level review of the game in its current state... Down the line hopefully most of my issues/gripes will be fixed, but as it currently stands this is far from a perfect game very far...


Currently I would say the story is strong, now it does not feel as free as I was expecting but it is a good story so far. It has me hooked and I want to learn more about the world and the characters...

But there are some issues, obviously glitches but that's unavoidable. But beyond that what bugs me is the lack of customization, You cant customize your cars, your house and there should be a transmog esk feature. And if you wanna change your hair or anything welp you cant currently once u choose a look you are stuck with it. Now down the line i'm sure these will be addressed but as it stands they do not exist in 1.04.

As for guns... They feel pretty ok nothing amazing, I have not been able to try a build for every gun type but so far some types 100% seem stronger then others..

And to quickly talk about driving before I wrap this up... It feels slow/lack of weight I have not driven every car but the ones I have just feel like they are skating, acceleration turning all of it is just underwhelming currently...

Now to wrap things up i would say if you care about playing this game as it was intended/advertised I would wait a little, I hope most of my gripes will be fixed rather quickly but you can never know... But I would say the story is pretty good so far and i'm a fan of the characters I feel attached to some and truly hate others.

I would give this game currently a 7/10 which may be a bit to nice but i'm having fun

Also this game is very poorly optimized currently so if your pc isnt amazing then wait... I am lucky to have a 3080 and sit around 60-80 frames on max settings 2k...
