Best reason to reinstall Civ5

Get this. Don't waste your money on Civ 6 or that stupid Beyond Earth.

Very good game. Physics are amazing. Sad it doesn't have more players.

i really should have know better than to give my money to ubisoft again, especially when they banned me from r6 multiplayer for having a "suspicious phone number" without giving me a reason. Half the time you return from the loadout or menu, you get around 20 fps and what looks to be the lowest graphical settings of the game. You are then forced to close the game and launch it again. About an hour of gameplay and I had to do this multiple times. Don't even get buy this on a 90% sale. While looking up this problem I find out this bug has existed for at least 2 years and still no fix.
With a 2070, my frames never go above 60 during gameplay. The most insulting part is the graphics barely look better than future soldier. I'm thinking the game is horribly optimized. So I turn down the settings to lowest possible option. And BEHOLD my frames can't go above 60 fps. These (unt$ put an unremovable 60 fps lock in 2020 pc game.

Unfinished and mediocre game

May 3, 2020: Dog $hi+ unbalanced matchmaking. Looks like the devs put all the necessary effort of matchmaking into monetizating the game. Would refund this game if I could.
July 20, 2020: After a few hundred hours of dealing with the worst matchmaking system ever, I eventually ranked down enough to the point where I can enjoy the game and make an impact in matches. My matches are reasonably fair and I can very rarely get MVP. Changing my review from negative to positive. The matchmaking system still needs works and matches can be riddled with griefers. I wish they would allow the option of kicking griefers out of the match but the only option you have is a report. The report is obviously not enough otherwise matches would not be filled with griefers.
July 5, 2022: I can no longer play ranked (the only reason to play the game) because they added a phone verification requirement. Apparently my 10 digit phone number from T Mobile is "suspicious" for some untold reason. I am glad I knew enough about ubisoft so I never spent much money on their games but this made sure I will never spend money on their products again.
