This game has an addictive quality to it. Hard to believe it's free. The controls are tight. The game play is fun. The concept is sound. The story is humorous. The art direction oozes personality. And the sound track slaps.

Bish, if you don't pick this SH** up I hope you get hit by a car for being so lame and stupid ya' waste of humanity.

And for the record. It's not that hard to 100% this game. it's worth it, just gotta use your brain a little is all.

So, I was under the mistaken impression this was a visual novel. No, that's not what this is. I picked it up for 74 cents, but it usually retails for a buck.

This is just a henti puzzle game. The difference between this one and most is that art is better than most of them. And, your reward isn't just getting the picture, it's a little animatic.

I'm not sad I got it, I'm not ashamed. It is what what is, I have many kind of like it, but this is superior to most of them.

This game has a lot of polish, and there is a lot to like here. For the first 5 to 7 hours I was pretty hooked. I never got past the third area (and still haven't). But somewhere after that, I started to notice the game was starting to feel a little lack luster. It starts to feel pretty repetitive. Now don't get me wrong, all your runs will end up being different due to the cards and gear you pick up and because of the mystery stops.

However, it's not enough to keep it feeling fresh the whole time. Some of the mystery stops show up all the time, and some some are a bit more rare, but none of them offer much to make it feel all that much different. The biggest tangible difference between runs is your cards and gear, but all you really notice is if you are feeling powerful or weak compared to other runs. Unlocking new characters does give it a little more spice. But still not enough in my opinion to make a huge impact.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad game. Just that it goes from something you fell compelled to play, to a time killer pretty quickly. What you get is highly polished and great. But there needed to be more. More music tracks. More enemy types. More variations on party compositions both yours and the enemies. I'd have liked the story to be more flushed out (I think this would be a great basis for a comic or cartoon).

But yeah, it's a good game. It's worth picking up and playing. Just know this isn't the game your going to play endlessly for several months. It's a game your going to play a lot for several hours, then do a few runs here and there now and again after that.

Depression and anorexia simulator.

This is a free title. A fairly short narrative, that I'm unsure if your choices affect anything or not. I imagine to do to some small degree.

The depression is easy to recognize, and surprisingly though I've been a very large man for most of my life, the anorexia is also very familiar to me as well. Not that I've ever had anorexia, but I have done weak long fasts a couple different times. And beyond that, the disordered thinking surrounding food, being both obsessed and repulsed by it, is very familiar.

As an odd experience that will leave you feeling different, I'd recommend checking it out. Just make sure you are mentally prepared to deal with it, because it's not exaggerated or flashy, it's raw and it's real in it's understated tone.

My initial impression is, well, I'm kind of impressed. I like the simple pixel art and I think the music is very well done. That said, some of the sound effects are slightly annoying and the gimmick could lose it's charm. It's not unlike Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, in that you can kind of manipulate the world by flipping between two version of the same world. This will be more focused on puzzle solving than platforming it seems, and it seems it could have some very dark undertones and beats hiding behind it's cutesy veneer.

Because the prologue here is free, it's for sure worth at least checking out.

The translation is awful. The lewd art is unnecessary. There is only one girl in the free portion of the game, you have to buy any other girls or stories. The girls all seem to have more than one story, or at least more than one way the story can go, several variations and outcomes.

That said, the game play is kind of interesting. It's challenging. Now almost every time you fail at a puzzle, you do gain a kind of currency that you can use to buy things to help you with the puzzle, so if you just keep trying, you can eventually get enough thing to power through them. I also found that most, I'm not sure if all, puzzles seem solvable without getting any help.

If this was a straight up paid game, I'd say naw. But, because a portion of it is free, and that portion is just interesting enough, I say check it out. If you end up loving it, you can always buy more. And if not, well, you didn't have to pay to find that out.

I didn't even realize this game was on sale, but being $7.50 for about one more day, now is as good a time as any to look at and say something about it.

I've been playing for a little over 5 hours and I've basically done nothing. I'm still in chapter 1. This is a deep CRPG where your choices really matter. The game lets you start by either letting you pick a quick option, or playing about a half hour long mini game where you decided what your character did during the prologue to set up a unique interactions to your choices. The character creation has a lot of presets, but it also has a lot of choice and depth insofar as who you actually are.

It's not easy, not by a long shot. In the tradition of CRPGs its punishing in combat, and gives you ample opportunities to engage in or avoid it. I picked it up on Fanatical a while back with all the DLC included. Just not getting to it and I'm digging it, though, it's one that's either going to suck up a lot of my life, or eventually be abandoned. But it I abandon it, it's not because its not a great game, it's because I'll want my life back.

This is a free, somewhat pornographic, visual novel with what I think is a fantastic art style that kind of lands in between traditional western comic style and manga. I'm not done yet, but I fully intend to finish it.

It's dumb and goofy in the best ways. If you're looking for a comedic lewd comic, this should scratch that itch for you. (and it uses lots of Kevin Macleod, so of course the music is good, but then you've heard it all before)

They thing itself tells you this is their first project and it's more of a proof of concept to prove to themselves they could in fact do it. Being free, within that context, I say they hit it out of the park.

(I say somewhat pornographic, because yeah you see it all, breast, ♥♥♥♥♥, and penis. But there is no animation and no actual penetration that I saw so far, more suggestions and elusions to. It's harder than "softcore" but it's not "XXX")

I have mixed feelings about this free visual novel.

First, the music and sound design is decent enough, and I do like the art. The story is kind of interesting, in theory, but it was kind of a slog to get thought. Steam says I played it for 2 hours, but it felt longer.

The creator has an obvious bent in the direction of what I see as woke nonsense, but this was not particularly aggressive about it. I'd dare say some of it made some amount of sense all things considered within context. There was some voice acting, and that was also pretty decent, but it more or less ends fairly early on. I discovered on the boards that there was meant to be more, but some of the audio files were lost so much of it just didn't make it into the game.

I got a bad ending (I'm unsure how many endings there are, but mine was objectively bad, as the game explicitly told me so). Though, I was actually ok with it and am not sure I'm going back for another play through. And I'll give it this much credit, while it does have a slant that goes against my own, not only was it not overly aggressive with it, but it didn't try to make everything black and white and obvious. It was playing with some concepts of trust, loyalty, kinship, belonging, and home.

I guess if it wasn't free, I'd probably be a bit more harsh on it, but considering it is free, it's not too shabby. Hardly the best piece of free media I've engaged with on Steam, but not even close to the worst so over all it gets a big, MEH...
