I remember hearing about this game when it first came out, but I wasn't really picking up games at that time and sort of forgot about it. Through happenstance I stumbled upon it in the store.

This is a fun little game that just oozes charm. There is just enough strategy in the game to keep it from being a purely casual experience, but it's not deep enough that it should actually scare away a more casual audience.

At the end of the day, if you strip it down to it's essential elements this game is basically the old card game, WAR, but with a beautiful and fun presentation. If you want a goofy game that isn't totally mindless and makes you think just a little, and isn't involved with twitch reflexes and mechanical skill, then this game is probably for you.
