It is a good game but the ai pathfinding when on foot and the ai deciding to turn its tank turret at enemies nowhere near it, then my tank getting blown apart thanks to a side shot on the turret from a frontal engagement is annoying. Regardless, this is one of my most played games. And I do recommend it but sometimes the pathfinding can be on levels of Command and Conquer Tiberian Dawn infuriating.

I no longer recommend this game. These developers have lost the way and do not understand their own game. They fix nothing and are incompetent with this engine along with the trickling of content. They are now blocking discussion threads because they can't handle the heat. Goodbye you useless fan base. Guzzle on them some more while you're at it.

Early Access Review
When one has more in common with Ashley's views on family than most other characters in games, maybe it is time to look inward?

Nah...

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley considers the journey of two demented individuals backdoored by society; on the run from the government; and influenced by the black tendrils of Satanism. Beneath the veneer of humor masquerading between their antics, this is a very dark game with nonexistent hope. For that, I love it.

I've never really played these kinda games but the goth aesthetic pulled me in and the story led me to the finish line. I'd like to see more involved puzzles in the third act and also an increase in decision making as these were the two points I felt were lacking on my initial play-through.

I will present a few major and minor spoilers here.

What is the deal with the quarantines? Why are people being starved to death? What is really going on in this universe the characters live within? These are questions I would really like to have answers for in the third act or if it is expanded upon further with an increase in budget as it appears this game is selling well.

I will end on this note as referenced from 40K. Burn the Heretic, kill the mutant, purge the unclean.

No.

Burn the mother, kill the father. bang the sister.

I had a great time in Callisto Protocol. I went into this game blind with few expectations and was pleasantly surprised in many ways. The combat is fun and visceral. The lighting, sound design and graphics are absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed the story - including that apparently divisive ending - though my main gripes are the abysmal stuttering issues. These are unacceptable and must be fixed. No game should have these types of problems. Even with the latest patch as off 12/19/22 the game still stutters in certain areas; the shanty town is a huge gripe of mine.
Lack of enemy variety is felt partially, though there is still a fair amount in this game. It isn't Silent Hill Downpour levels of enemy variety.
All in all, I appreciate this game for its demanding combat and interesting story. I look forward to learning more about this universe and, hopefully, seeing a sequel down the road.

More of the same but still a great game. If only they would shut off the online servers. These have been the worst servers out of all three games and it seriously detracts from the experience.

Words cannot describe just how deeply I love this game. And that my friends is how we will start this review.
Organ Quarter is a true to form survival horror with glorious combat; tense resource management; and puzzles to boot. You wake in your apartment knowing something isn't quite right. Beginning in the long halls of the derelict complex you search for clues on why everybody is gone. What are these shambling forms coming for me and where the hell is a gun!
And though I do kinda wished we learned a bit more what was truly happening in this game, I kinda am satisfied with the vague story-line.
This game is almost like a spiritual successor to SIlent Hill and I say this as it is a bittersweet feeling. I loved the Silent Hill series. To see it so callously abandoned is depressing. This game - in many respects - fixes that itch. The trepidation that fills your heart with the absolutely eerie tracks and the sounds of the monsters reminds me so much of that game I almost feel I took a walk down the wrong an alternate timeline and Silent Hill was reborn in VR.
With that said, this game can proudly stand on its own two feet no doubt. It is different enough to also feel fresh and dear God that ending reminded me of that one segment in System Shock 2. If you know, you know.
I could wax poetic about this game all day and I think I will just a bit longer my dear reader. I have to say the strip club/bar was my favorite segment in the game. There was a certain puzzle that required you to actually interact with the environment. Were it done in non-vr I don't think it would have stuck at all, but having to do it yourself, wow is all I can say. Virtual reality really opens the door to unique stuff.
Also, the music in that segment of the game is hands down the best. There is this clash in the game between ominous ambiance and almost borderline dark synth in segments and I swear to you, I freaking love those heavy synth segments.
Finally, I will state a few things that do annoy me. I shall not end this on nothing but positively for that would be a disservice to anyone looking to buy this.
The game has some bizarre glitches. Here are a few examples: Sometimes when leaving an elevator I became a midget. It truly felt like a Monty Python segment with, "I'll bite yer knees off!" I would glitch out occasionally, grey out because my character would end up out of bounds and I even was walking forward without using the sticks. (I own a Valve Index and used the Index Controllers. I tested them in Half Life: Alyx to see if my sticks were breaking. They worked flawlessly on there.)
I also was kinda annoyed with there being so few weapons and also the lack of enemy variety kinda sucked too. It would have been nice to see another 2 or 3 monsters to make it more varied.
All in all, these are minor complaints that I can ignore as I am happy with this game and was truly stunned by that ending. It left so many questions that I do hope one day this games sees a sequel on the horizon.
You are the love letter to Silent Hill and this is mine to thee.

Arthurian Legends is an okay game although I feel its strongest part is the first chapter and that unfortunately is the shortest of the three. It follows the rules of practically all other 90's style games within this category - I.E. find keys; search for secrets; beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of enemies; and get to the end of said level.
I find my biggest gripe with this game is the later levels and their lackluster design. Not to mention the absolutely atrocious menu settings that can just destroy this game. This engine feels like it is held together by termite chewed plywood and duct tape lacking adhesive. I don't understand why it chugs sometimes. I am running a 3900X processor and RX 6900XT and this game just despises running properly. It is truly inexcusable.
It is an alright game all things considered. I received it for free and I do not feel cheated of my time. I'd have to say though, now that I have beaten it, I have no desire to ever play this again. Take that as you may.
I'd give it a 6 out of 10. It is slightly above average but that is it. If the game had tighter level design and ran better, I would be more forgiving. The later levels became a slog with an insane uptick in difficulty. Also, screw that level with all the bridges and everywhere you turned was a fall to your death.

I am writing a fresh review concerning my thoughts on this game and having deleted the previous one after having an issue that was completely my own fault, I wanted to come into this with a clean view and without any negativity sparked by me.
Before we begin, I bought the first person perspective mode for this game and that is how I will be reviewing it.

Them and Us for me is a first person experience of re1 with cult and magic influence peppered throughout. I kinda was expecting an re1 clone at first but the game expands and branches out, showing it can be more than the sum of its comparable parts. I really like this game. It can be very taxing even on normal in the early segments as zombies are relentless and ammo is extremely scarce. Whereas everybody else said they were low near the end of the game, I actually had a ton of ammo and crushed the final boss easily but your mileage may vary as I used the knife religiously in the beginning.

The atmosphere, sound and music are all top notch and really get you into the setting. I found myself standing still in awe at some of the scenes, especially a point in the game near the very end where iridescent blue skies belie the horrors that lurked below the surface. Even the crack of gunfire sounds decent enough and I especially love the smg.

My primary gripe with this game is the obtuse puzzles that really left me scratching my head more times than I'd like to admit. I usually perform fairely well in horror games and their puzzles but a lot of them are tied to the lore notes you find throughout the game and even then, some just made no sense to me. You may find them easy and or rewarding, I certainly hope you perform better than I. I also do not know why but I see white sparkles in first person. I don't know if this is an issue in the other modes but this weird glittery shine in certain segments of the game was really a bummer too as it lessened the mood for sure.

All in all, Them and Us is a rewarding experience with multiple unlocks as expected out of a horror game, giving you that extra incentive to try other difficulties and or speed-run. I bought this on sale around Christmas time for 30 dollars. I believe it is well worth that money and I'll be certainly keeping this game company under my radar.

I'll start by saying I thoroughly enjoy this game. I've always been a fan of the 90's era in gaming with the mentality of "screw your feelings." This game definitely upholds that mantra.
From the ultra violence, brutal executions, insane dialogue, demon sex, stomping demon babies heads in and performing backyard abortions hits all those check marks on the 90's era, I'm clearly at home - or in hell. Probably hell.
I genuinely love the simplicity of the combat. It definitely reminds me of Doom 2016 with melee weapons or a less elegant Vermintide 2. I am a huge fan of both those games and this one sidles up alongside them relatively well.
I find the over the top dialogue to be downright hilarious at some points. It is like living in a world created by black metalheads and death metal people alike. If the humor was unintended, I am sorry but it is great and I am so happy it is as chaotic as the game itself.
Graphics look really good. And the fact you all are an independent studio is commendable. The shores of hell and the denizens within all look crisp and very detailed. I was also impressed how even smaller objects off the beaten path maintained a quality that most games never seem to muster.
The hub is pretty sweet where you can make weapons, customize your character with an in-depth creation allowing many different appearances and tastes and partake in demonic debauchery too, for good measure of course.
One more word on combat: I find it to be very fast paced. The ability to blink around in the midst of combat whilst teleporting, and then reappearing only to cut a demon in half or burn them with fire from your hand is really a treat. I love the speediness and way you can jump around to get in attacks as the combat gets kinda insane at points.
I do have some negatives to say: I'm playing on 2K with a 3900X and 5700XT and this game stutters considerably in certain areas. I presume that is jankiness from the engine having hiccups and less on my computer? Probably will need some patches? Also, the subtitles do not match the actual in-game voices all that often. I suggest turning subtitles off or you will be scratching your head like I do.
I wanted to get this review out sooner than later but if I feel I need to add more I most certainly will. For the price and what is on offer, I suggest this most definitely if any of this sounds like your cup of tea. Thanks for your time and checking out my review. Hope it helps.
