Believe it or not the game is still somewhat active. I will admit there are some hackers every, id say, 15 games but you can leave and find another game pretty fast. Most of the current players have above average skill so you will get pub stomped quite a bit if you arent too good. BO2 is one of the most balanced and fun COD games i've ever played.
