This game will kick your ass. I just got to the Mun, after 86 hours on record, and even then, I couldn't get back to Kerbin, so now I have to save that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot myself. I'm ashamed :)

TL;DR: Use Matt Lowne and Scott Manley tutorials, delta v maps, and don't expect it to be easy if you only have a vague understanding of orbital mechanics.

I hate it for taking up so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much of my free time, and i still don't even have everything unlocked. 666/Mom's Vagina, would crawl inside her womb to slay her deceased corpse of a fetus again.

~~I want to play this game. It looks fun as hell, and a whole lot better than Warband. However, the system requirements are a lie for windows 7. Whenever I create a character it simply gives me a white screen. If you're reading this and the bug is fixed, pm me please :)~~

Here's an update: I am now playing on a Windows 11 desktop, slightly under the minimum requirements for the GPU but there's still decent FPS on the lowest graphics settings. I've played 8 hours in less than a day (could have done more, but alas). Comparing it to Warband, it looks a whole lot better and has a much more in-depth command system. There are lots of quality of life improvements, such as not having to go into the tavern to hire people, which was an incredibly annoying thing in the first game. The new army mechanic is decent, but I find myself running out of food quite quickly during sieges, if I'm in an AI army. Sieges are awesome, though. I've died a lot, and wouldn't have it any other way.

I have about a hundred (maybe 2) more hours on this game than steam shows. This is a fantastic game, with a large variety of unique planets and MANY MANY MODS. The base game is very good, but it gets much better if you have mods such a Republic At War. If you use your units wisely, and spend the time on the battlefield moving your troops, then you are *almost* guaranteed a win unless the AI has much better or more units than you.
