Of course I recommend it, I made it!

In my experience, and for my expectations, the game lived up to the hype. It does have some unfortunate problems, primarily with lag or bad performance, but the substance is, in a word. breathtaking.

GAMEPLAY
This game has some of the most fun stealth I've ever played and the combination of hacking and stealth is so fun I want to dedicate my entire next playthrough to that approach. The action gameplay is slower paced. The game is definitely meant to be played on hard as on hard it offers a challenging but balanced experience.

STORY/NARRATIVE
From what I have experienced, the side missions and main story missions are all absolutely excellent in my opinion and are more than just superficial fluff. For example there is a side mission where a sentient AI that runs a high end taxi service needs you to capture some of its rough taxis. Along the way you deal with these cars as they each have certain different personalities that you have to play along/react to, but on a deeper level the side quest explores the ideas of AI-Human coexistence and existential crisis associated with being an AI.

WORLD
Night City is massive, and densely packed with doodads and side areas throughout. I'm confident in saying the map is the reason the game took so long to make. It far surpasses places like Los Santos or Fallout 4 Boston in detail. The badlands is equally intriguing but wont give you sensory overload like NC, and there aren't as many things to do there as well, but that's to be expected.

BUGS/GLITCHES/PERFORMANCE
My computer specs:
CPU: Core I7 4400k @ 2.4 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070 (through Alienware graphics amp)
RAM: 12 gig DDR3
Display: 60hz 1920x1080 laptop display

The reccomended specs to run the game will leave you wanting for frames. I average 30 frames no matter where I am or what I am doing, with dips into the 20s at times and spikes into the 40s at times, at ultra settings no RT. When I set my settings lower I gain maybe 5 frames average but I still experience dips and spikes.
For the bugs, I was experiencing pretty significant bugs with partially loaded textures and models similar to what happens on PS4 and XBone, but I moved my install from an external HDD to installed SSD and I haven't had any problems since then with that. There are some UI bugs. I turned off subtitles, but when I load in, almost without fail, the subtitle of who ever is talking at the time just appears and never leaves. I also had some bugs when creating my character where I couldn't move my cursor. I have not crashed once yet.
Other than those bugs there are some minor QoL things I wish were different but as it stands

Overall the Cyberpunk 2077 was worth the wait for me, and I hope and pray they release rich modding tools so the hardcore fans can take the game to even further heights.

You dont play the game.

It plays you.

I was sweating when I opened the game. By the end of the intro I was freezing.

This will be the next MC its just not finished. I love this game and how reallistic it is
