I'M DOING MY PART!

Beyond the obvious issues regarding the performance on PC and whatnot, Wild Hearts is a solid contender for Monster Hunter. With the way it handles weapon gearing it already set itself apart from from the Monster Hunter tyrant (no pun intended), by providing players with a choice, something that is static in the aforementioned titles. The Armor system is... It exists. There's not much to it as is now and the skills most of the sets provide from the monsters you hunt are generic at best, it still leaves you with little options to truly mix and match to your hearts desire for a true endgame build at higher difficulties versus Monster Hunter.

The Online multiplayer aspect is definitely a plus with the inclusion of crossplay, but with the performance issues regarding the PC port you'd find yourself often asking if it's lag or your FPS causing you to miss your hits or parry.

All in all, 6/10. Not worth the release price, but definitely worth the experience, if you can manage.
