Almost 1000 hrs into the game and now I write some thoughts.
Absolutely love this game.
Map designs are very unique, mostly the ones on the base game. There are I think 14 maps on the base game with each their own theme and identity (color of the sky, lighting, ambience, location) add to authenticity and immersion. There is a map called Convocation of Decay and you start off in someone's basement cellar and you go deeper and deeper to disrupt a ritual, this map has it's own identity afar from other maps.
Characters have funny voice lines, let's use the Dwarf for example. You know how dwarfs in media/movies/other games have their personality that you know a dwarf has, jolly/happy/beer etc. Yes, Bardin the dwarf has authentic dwarf lines and personality. Nobody likes Kerillian, she's a ♥♥♥♥.
These voice lines and interactions are not generic game voice lines, they do sound authentic and add to that are specific voice lines based on a player's action ie. Bardin: Doesn't Sigmar say don't shoot the dwarf? (when Saltzpyre does a friendly fire to the Dwarf)
Combat and Weapons, from afar may look all identical but each weapon has their own attack pattern, effect to your character.A career can only use certain weapons, some class/careers have weapons that are made only for them (ie. Only Kruber can use the heavy Halberd)
Each weapon is unique to it's own and there is not such thing as a terrible weapon, but some weapons perform better than others and can even be critical in certain situation.
Enemies are Skaven and Chaos. There is a heirarchy for the enemies of each faction and they are easy to identify from one another. Aside from normal/fodder footsoldiers, there are Elites that come in lesser numbers but often are armored or has extra physical attacks (ie. berserkers are humanoid, fast attacking melee with one weapon on each hand, this type of enemy will force you to block his attacks or dodge them or kill them from afar)
There are also special enemies that can have significant impact, but do not worry as there is often signal cue through sound to tell you which type of special enemy is lurking in the dark and about to attack (ie. Packmasters are enemies that move with a stick, hooks your neck and drags you away from your allies. This type of enemy can be scary while you are fighting a large wave and he can hook-drag you away)
Okay, I guess that's it for me. Time to go.

Fun to play with, even playing solo as the AI is competent(sticks close to you)
