started survival in second hardest mode, immediately get jumped by a pack of wolves, cheat death
try outrunning the wolves, fail miserably, but got flares earlier and scares off wolves to be immediately greeted by a bear and gets mauled, SOMEHOW SURVIVES, IMMEDIATELY GETS UP, GETS MAULED AGAIN AND DIE AGAIN. Cheat death again and live for 20 more days until the inevitable death due to the multiple death-cheating leading to a health bar being hardstuck to only a quarter lasting for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ year. Great game

The whole saga (hehe) is a sweet mix of whimsy and intrigue and after three great games i've been deeply enchanted by the setting, the story, and the characters. The characters stand out especially. I always look forward to what happens with each players in the story after an entry and thats a good sign that the writers are doing something right. I suggest playing The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey first before going in to enhance the experience.
