I don't think all these people that need food bank support will appreciate how much time I spend crashing into their property! (the controls are kinda... waay too responsive. I've gotten stuck a lot because the trucks I've unlocked, even the slower one, accelerate and turn too fast. Still a fun concept! )

This game is what introduced me to farming sims, and I like how it's a calm, more social focused one.
I got it for free by being one of the people who played the Demo early on. Early on enough that only spring and summer were available and the art was completely different!

The description of this game does not lie when it says the routes are very different. While getting any one ending to any one route will get you the majority of the lore of the game, you won't get a full understanding of everything unless you do all the routes. And really, the lore of the game feels to me like more of a draw than romancing people. Especially since a non romantic ending could sit with your morals the best, and there is no true 'good ending'. Just what you feel is best (and surprisingly even the 'joke' endings have a bit of merit in the setting. It's not like a Silent Hill UFO ending type thing)

I tried this game out because it had the magic words "non-binary love interest", always good to see more representation of non-binary people, and nice that the enby here is a human. Their route was the first I wound up on and it seemed like a good starting point. Playing that one first enhanced the other routes since I had an idea what was going on. Though that may well apply to starting from any route: the knowledge from your first enhances the others.

It can sometimes be hard to work out how to progress, but the unusual and fun battle system, the non random encounters where it's possible to avoid enemies, and the cute running animation mitigate this and sometimes all you have to do is experiment until you understand.

I find this to be a really good game for when I am slightly too tired to do much else, and sometimes it helps me get awake enough. The story is interesting and I really love the music, especially "Death Of London".

One wouldn't expect a game about organ harvesting to be chill and relaxing, but there we go.

Note that there is some body horror, of course, and one of the storylines (The Girl and the Cat) involves animal cruelty. (A comment below explains with more detail.)

I had played the original way back when it was released. With the original, I downloaded it to two different computers so I could see both endings but couldn't bring myself to make the choice I didn't the first time. With this remake and the change in systems, I finally got to see both.

At first I did not know how this game would work as a game one actually pays for. The whole mechanic of 'you can only play once, and btw closing the game kills the pc' was fine in the freeware version but I felt that in a game people paid actual money for would draw ire. And the creators of the game managed to work being able to play again into the story of the game and build up on it all further.

It was well worth getting this for me.

I played this game on the lowest graphical settings and it was still gorgeous. I also found myself theorising about what wa going on long before I found all the artifacts, which is quite a rare experience in videogames for me.
I so need to get the soundtrack.

This is a very cute game, I particularly liked the noise that Feste made when you dragged them around.
The only problems I ever had were that the art style sometimes made it hard to spot things in puzzles.

This game taught me how to make a microwave cake. So it had a long term impact in that!

It was also... quite sad. And I loved some of the music.

I managed to enjoy it even though I don't think I did the routes in quite the right order. *Mute - *Hyun-ae- Both is the reccomended.

I also liked that I could chose to not be a man or a woman.

This game has been the only reason I turn on steam every day lately. Ended up playing some games I haven't in a while because it happened to be up. It's also good to run in the background while I am drawing.

Also I am impressed by how the snail managed to find their way back after I somehow launched them into orbit while trying to work out the controls.
