Hoo boy. This game is still going, huh?


This game is something else. 7 years and it's still getting updated, and it's still fun, huh?
This game has a lotta stuff to do. You wanna mow down cops with an MG42, China Puff grenade launcher, and a pencil, while wearing a golden monkey mask? Go ahead. Wanna silently sneak through a mission without being seen once, while wearing a tiara? Go right on ahead pal. Wanna burn everything to a crisp with flamethrower no.1, flamethrower no.2, and a grill fork? I ain't gonna stop ya man.

Now one thing about this game is the LOADS of DLC you surely saw when looking at the store page. Here's some things to know about them.

1. The DLC ain't required. There are plenty of weapons, skill sets, and builds you can use that don't cost a dime of DLC.

2. Sometimes the DLC has weapons that aren't even as good as pre-existing, free weapons, which only reinforces point number 1, so it's your choice if you want a worse pistol or not because it looks neato.

3. Say you wanna play a heist, but it's DLC, and you can't afford it. No issue pal, you can play any heist in the game if someone else hosts it. Whether it be friend, known person, or random stranger you just met, you can play any heist as long as someone who owns it hosts it.


The playerbase of this game can be, iffy at times. Half of it is very kind, will help you through any trouble, and be overall nice. And the other half will kick you if you run a certain weapon, or actively not help you. Or...y'know...cheat.


This games soundtrack. HOLY ♥♥♥♥ this games soundtrack is something else. If you like a certain type of song, chances are it exists in the game. Dubstep? Check. Meme? Check. Rock? Check. Metal? Check. Budget Push it to the limit? Check. Christmas? Check. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ intense 8-bit? Check.




The game has a big goal to work towards as of now, it being Infamy 500 (Infamy being like Prestige in Call of Duty games.)


The best part about all of this? It's still getting updated. You want a weapon from the real world in this game? ♥♥♥♥ man it might just make it. Have a cool idea for a mask you'd like to see? Could very well get added in at some point. And say that mask or gun you want doesn't happen? S'all cool, this game has full modding support, from audio, to visuals, to stats even, all sortsa things you can mod.


So overall, this is a pretty good game, still going as of now, and well done to Overkill for managing to make it go THIS long. Like, 7 years man. Jeez.
