I've pre-ordered this game and when it came out I was very disappointed and I didn't touch the game for a couple of years. I thought that No Man's Sky was just another game hyped up to the most unrealistic expectations and that it would trip, fall and crumbled down to tiny pieces, never to be heard from again. Oh how we were wrong. Yes, launch was an absolute disaster, but the amount of post-launch effort made by Hello Games is just incredible. They took it on the chin, didn't complain and went back to work. THAT gets my greatest respect. I freaking love this game now! If you have bought the game back in 2016 and you haven't touched it since: give it another chance I promise you will enjoy it so much. Also, if you haven't bought the game and you question the review rates: Now is the perfect time to buy. Yeah all-time review are okay, but understand that the early-day reviews are brutally negative. To this day No Man's Sky has grown to a full fletched triple A game with so many things to do that I can't even follow all the primary and secondary quests at the same time. Trust me, it's great!
