I found the "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" series by mistake, and it was a lucky mistake.

These games are trying to define a new genre of game mechanics.
For the moment the industry is lacking a solid "problem solving" title, such as one based on a detective story.
So far all the attempts have been badly imitating creativity in problem solving, restricting themselves to guided
story-telling mechanics, with only a hint of creativity.
The problems to face, in the developing of a proper free problem solving game, are enormous.
It is a realm so vast that creates a new branch of science.
Just try to immagine how cool would be an open world Victorian London city, where you are solving problems,
cases and mysteries, being able to use whatever you whish to crack the case: jumping roofs, going undercover, corrupting people, breaking into houses, solving intricate puzzles.

On the frontline, fighting for this just cause, trying to bring us a new AWESOME game genre, are the "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" series.

I strongly recommend both "The Devil's Daughter" and "Crimes & Punishments" as THE best this genre has to offer by now!

Good luck to the developers!

This is one of the meanest basterds you'll meet around here. He's here to pawn your girlfriend and watch the world burn... and he's already pawned your girlfriend.
