Supergiant just doesn't ever miss. Excellent combat, style, animations, drawings, soundtrack, story, replayability.
Darren and Ashley once again released some certified bangers, when the Coral Crown started playing that was something else.

Also I appreciate the ultrawide support, it's a bit weird that we get the black bars during dialogues though but it's not too bothersome.

Death to Chronos.

Short version:
I found this to be the best game I've come accross in the past few years, definitely worth to get it.

Pro:
- Excellent Co-op experience
- Great combat system and game mechanics
- Amazing art and music
- Offers challenge to a wide variety of people
- A lot of entertaining quests and conversations
- The possibility to have multiple characters/companions with some rather unique set of skills
- Quite much entertainment for money spent

Cons:
- If you're not so experienced with similar games, the first 5-6 levels can be a very rough start
- Personally encountered very minor graphical bugs here and there (they might be not as widespread though, my friend doesn't have them)
- Sometimes the controls and positioning can be a bit off (easy to misclick in a combat and waste points on movement instead of attacking, backstabbing position seems weird quite often, relatively hard to see where the environmental effects begin and end)

Neutral:
- While conversations are amusing, some might find there are way too many quests involving jokes and puns.
- Really addictive. When your friend in co-op tells you the second day in row: "Dude, did you realize it's 6 am already?", then you know you spent too much playing the game.

Longer version:

I'd definitely suggest to buy it, but for the maximum level of entertainment you should get a Co-op partner too with voice communications - possibly one that's willing to read through plenty of conversations and play during same hours as you do.

If you're anything like me and not really familiar with games like these, you might want to read up on basic game mechanics - such as sneaking, stealing, pickpocketing, the reactions of elements in combat, weaknesses of different opponents - otherwise it might be a rather tedious start. With a sub-optimal party you might run into trouble in the first couple of levels already.

The game itself offers a wide variety of skills and classes (at least I'd consider it so nowadays) which results in quite good combat scenarios, the only thing that can be a bit of a letdown if the randomness turns against you - but that's part of the game.

Aside from combat, there amount of quests, side-quests and just interesting NPCs is just incredible. Many of them will basically require you to do some sort of investigation based on what you're learned through your conversations, sometimes you might just have to talk with dozens of NPCs to find out who can help you, sometimes it takes several minutes to find that hidden switch or logic to progress to the next part of the quests. Which is really a good experience from the old times, seeing how almost all the new games will save you from using your brain at any cost.

The level of details is very good as well. There're towns with multi-leveled buildings, each of them have dozen of items like tables, chairs, cups, knives, paintings, quill, ink and whatever you can imagine. Some of these you can steal and vendor, others can be used for crafting! You can even move most of these.
The art and voices are pretty good and the music is just perfect. Really the only thing that annoyed me was the sounds of characters speaking in caves, there's a weird echo to it, but it's nothing major.

While the positive things by far outweigh the negative in this game, I do have to mention some of the annoyances - although these might be fixed soon enough.
One of these annoyances are the downtimes between battles and conversations, when you're basically doing nothing but traveling. The default movement speed on your characters are pretty slow, while there're waypoints to help that, often you just have to move back and forth between NPCs to find out what to do. It's the same thing with healing between fights, feels just like a pointless downtime (although I can see how it could be exploited).
Other than that, there're some minor things, such as it's hard to see when are you actually going to step on an environmental effect (you might think your character can pass right near that little blazing grass, but sometimes it'll set you on fire) and there seems to be a little inconsistency between host and a co-op player on where some of the enemies are facing - this and the very small angle at which backstab works can make the life of Scoundrels a nightmare early on.

A friend of mine and me spent almost 30 hours with this game so far and we can't see the end of it yet. We might still create new characters once we finish, as we didn't even get to try crafting properly yet, or the quests where you talk to animals, or a lot of characters, or the steam workshop, or many of the other things this game can offer! The point is, it's one of the very few purchases in the past half dozen years that I didn't regret and for that I bow before Larian Studios.
