This is an excellent, excellent game. Roguelike deckbuilding with a heavy RPG element and an absolutely bat@#$@$ insane plot. I really enjoyed this game and have put about 100 hours into it in order to 100% the "good ending". crazy ass game but tons of fun. Highly recommend.

This game is extremely fun and addictive. It's a little simplified but a more fleshed out version of this concept would be amazing. I know the developer still plans multiple updates and has posted a roadmap on what they intend to add/fix. My only complaint with the game is that it can be a bit simple once you figure out the meta and the AI really doesn't do well in pick and ban. I had a season where 2 of my members were one-tricks and went undefeated all season and the AI didn't ban their champ a single time. It is a very entertaining sim in a genre where there are few competitors so if you like MOBAs and you like Coaching Sims I highly recommend it for it's price.

There is a great deal of content in this game, I just wish it wasn't so tedious. Mission types start repeating quite early since there seem to only be 4-5 win condition scenarios. running around the abbey and check the forge, the intel thing, the library, the training station and then all of your companions is a lot of chorework in between each mission. I got it off of wishlist for $14.99 and feel like I got my money's worth of entertainment, but I wouldn't recommend it for a higher price than that. I'm not even sure I'll get halfway through the main scenario before moving on to something else. so this will be a very slow burn for me to finish in between other games.

It might seem clunkier than Hades at first, but it's really just getting adjusted to Melinoe's fighting style compared to Zagreus'. Other than that, it's a clear improvement on Hades in many ways, including multiple destination paths that can break up the monotony of doing the exact same run over and over again. The combat is fun, the voice acting is phenomenal, the story is intriguing. I can't wait for it to go full release to experience the full story they have planned out for us.

this is one of the greatest games ever made. it is difficult, but you can go farm infinitely to become overpowered if you are lacking in skill, or look up OP build guides on the internet, everyone should experience this game, even if you're not a "hardcore gamer"

The game itself is okay and mildly entertaining. If you really REALLY wanted a combination dating sim/roguelike that this works. But tbh although it does both genres, it doesn't really do either of them very well. The combat is insanely simple not challenging, and the dating aspect doesn't go much further than just giving gifts and pick dialogue choices, most of which have absolutely no impact on how the game actually plays.
I played for 8 hours and have no intention of ever playing again, so if you think 8 hours of entertainment is worth the price tag, go for it. I didn't hate the game, just wasn't terribly impressed by it. Pick it up on sale to kill a few hours or if you're a huge fan of dating sims and dungeon crawlers.

This game is fantastic and addictive. so so so fun. I love that nerfs/buffs are based on each playthrough, and that hero releases are randomized after a certain point, making the meta different each playthrough. Seriously, what an incredible game. I would love to see updates, and future installments of this game. and highly recommend to fans of coaching sims, mobas, or even auto-battlers.

Played this game for well over 100 hours on PS4, picked it up on steam when the port came to PC and it seems to be an excellent port.
If you play this game expecting it to be the same as FF6-FF10 you will be disappointed, but if you pick this game up and just judge it for what it is, I think you will love it. It is an excellent game and a bridge from the old gen of JRPG to the new gen. The cutscenes and gameplay are devestatingly beautiful, I don't think I have ever seen better quality cutscenes in any game ever. highly recommend.
