It is truly a game for those with no money. If you want to feel like you're playing a cheap, knock-off version of harvest moon because you can't afford it, you can breed animals. Slowly. And tediously. If you want to fight and kill goblins off, you can use the knock-off assassin's creed engine with spells! If you can't afford animal crossing, you can decorate a room!!!

So much attention to detail, so many instances that show a love for the end result, and an amazing adventure, even past the end. Can't wait to try Shadow!

Good game.

No technical updates, no ease of access, no highlighting items that can be looted. It's an old game that doesn't deserve the price tag because it's an OLD. GAME.

"The AI isn't set up to learn, it is set up with an 'If-Than' system." So let's give the AI 500% damage, 30% production, and an extra city. To make it fair.
All an AI is is "If-Than" systems. I expect this type of cheap laziness with a Blizzard game from the 90s. The creators couldn't code a decent AI so they pull bullcrap like giving the AI such unfair advantages that the jumping through the hoops to counter these makes the game a dragging grind. Then when you think you have the hang of it, SPAIN CAN ONE SHOT YOUR UPGRADED ARCHERS WITH HIS NEWLY-MADE ARCHER THAT HE JUST BOUGHT IN THE CITY!

Oh and let's not forget Barbarians will literally DISENGAGE AN AI CITY to swarm your settler. Even if it's about to win the city. No, screw the player without any illusion of freedom from bias.

Just a waste.

I don't like MMORPGs as a rule, but this is a good game. Unfortunately at this time (12/13/2021) cryptocurrency mania has made server space a falsely scarce commodity.

Edit: No attempt to counter hackers, cheaters, and lag manipulators. None. Whatsoever. 4 Substitutions? Sure. Back to back to back ultimates? Why not!

-Too much "Did you speak with this guy 12 hours ago? No? Then you cannot even start this quest."
-If the combat could keep up, I wouldn't mind, but you NEED to get the right quests done or you're stuck "grinding" the merchants for okay gear. Then you have no way to actually dodge. You WILL be hit. You WILL be poisoned/burned/petrified. So there is half of your inventory space carrying medicine around.
-When anyone does join your game? It's to check your shops and buy all the potions/antidotes and possibly a piece of epic gear that you were saving for. Then they D/C right away to check another game.

It's not fun to have to check a guide every ten minutes to see if I missed an obscure conversation or opened a specific barrel (And have the same 20 quests to do in the beginning every time you want to try a new build). It's not fun to have a clunky battle system where almost everything can destroy you unless you're over-geared. (Or cheesing hard, which is recommended by several guides...) And it's not fun to have your entire starting town cleared out by some jerk who already bought his out, BUT STILL DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH ANTIDOTES bc everything WILL hit you.
