Was fairly excited for this one, but evidently devclashes are the only real decent scale bug testing. As there wasn't one this time around, a huge amount of bugs got into the update and DLC. What an absolute joke.

The art style, music, and challenge bring it together to make it a fulfilling experience. If you can't really handle the possibility of dying a lot to some bosses, I'm not sure this game will be for you. You can get easily 40 hours from a single playthrough alone, but make sure not to google *anything* unless you want to risk spoilers. If you don't think you're capable or have the willpower to get through a fairly challenging metroidvania, then I strongly recommend finding a playthrough to watch on YT if you still want to know about the game.
