Lord, my God, in you I take refuge;
save me and free me from everyone
those who persecute me,

so that, like lions,
do not tear me apart or tear me apart,
without anyone freeing me.

Lord, my God, if I did this,
if in my hands there is injustice,

if I did something wrong to a friend
or if I spared my adversary for no reason,

let my enemy pursue me until he overtakes me,
on the ground trample me and annihilate my life,
casting my honor in the dust.

Arise, Lord, in your wrath;
rise up against the wrath of my adversaries.
Wake up, my God! Order justice!

Gather the people around you.
He reigns over them from on high.

The Lord is the one who judges the people.
Judge me, Lord, according to my righteousness,
according to my integrity.

Just God,
who searches the minds and hearts of men,
puts an end to the wickedness of the wicked
and gives security to the righteous.

My shield is in God's hands,
who saves the upright in heart.

God is a fair judge,
a God who manifests his wrath every day.

If a man does not repent,
God sharpens his sword,
draw your bow and aim it,

prepare your deadly weapons
and makes his arrows flaming arrows.

Whoever generates evil conceives suffering
and gives birth to disillusionment.

Who digs a hole and makes it deeper
You will fall into this trap you made.

His wickedness will turn against him;
his violence will fall on his own head.

I will give thanks to the Lord for his righteousness;
to the name of the Most High Lord
I will sing praises.
