I may be a bit biased since I love rogue-like deckbuilders, but this is a really fun game. It's well polished, I couldn't find any bugs, and the cards are unique. If the team had/has time to add a full rogue-like mode I could see this game becoming something even greater! Side notes, the fishing vfx is really cool and the powder monkey is way stronger than you might initially give it credit for.

This game has all the same charm and awesome references as the first game, which I love. It also has greatly improved its visuals and UI, as well as I think an improvement so some of the sound. The options menu feels very nice as well with some cool gameboy like graphics. It's certainly different from the first game, but I gotta say, I love. One of the cool things they did was try to pack everything into a small space and it leads to some really cool, creative design choices. Each of the stages feel very different and have their own fun unique stage modifiers, as the enemies are all designed pretty well. I'm not exactly sure as to why this game has such a low review, I love it for sure, maybe more than the first game (might be an opinion thing with the mechanics). Oh and, last thing, the movement, dodge rolls and jumping in this game are so quick and very satisfying.
For sure try it out!

Dead cells is one of my favorite games. I even got it on the switch as well so I could play it wherever. The developers are an inspiration to me as well, I ended up nominating them for best developer award and game of the year. The art is awesome, and all the combat feels smooth, on top of all that, the amount of unlockables and achievments you can get makes the game last a really long time, I'm not even done getting everything yet. I highly recommend playing this game even at full price.

this game takes a lot of skill, and quite a bit of patience. very strategic, i'd say its a a bit like civ 5. but i would recomend this game to anyway who like startegy
