fantastic culmination of everything FROMSOFTWARE has created in the past. It's so fun to just ride around exploring, but then the major areas of the game have that timeless FROMSOFT level design. (10/10)

Honestly a smudge on the souls series. The only reason this game could be considered "hard" is because of how clunky the controls, hit boxes, and poorly designed the punishment is for being hollow. Dark souls 1 has the same kind of gimmicks but the atmosphere and story made me want to overcome the challenge and push forward. DS3 has a similar story so it felt a little same-ish; however the gameplay felt 5x as forgiving with I-frames and hit boxes. I'll probably still try and beat it but I'm not having nearly as much fun as I did in the other games.

The best souls-like 2D platformer on the market. The cute, fun, and beautiful moments pose a stark contrast to the grey and dark tones of the world of hallownest; making the game a must buy.
