Super cute, super fun and super relatable, Lil' Gator Game is a bit on the short side but that's not a bad thing. Shield sledding and climbing around the island are supremely fun and rewarding since there's always a new friend to make around the corner. I won't spoil, but the story manages to have some serious elements while staying overall lighthearted and genuinely touching. It's a great game to pick up and put down a few times throughout a week or so, though it could also definitely be finished in just 2 or 3 longer sessions if that's your cup of tea.

I can highly recommend LGG if you're looking for a short and sweet game to relax while playing. I can also recommend it to the parents of any young gamers as the story manages to stay well within the bounds of kid-friendly territory (though there are a few moments of drama that may be a little sad for more sensitive children so I'd play alongside them if that's a concern.) It's clear the devs put a lot of passion into this project and playing through it had me thinking back to all the adventures I had playing outside as a kid.

In my opinion, the game is worth full price but it's worth noting that it seems to go on sale quite frequently (I picked it up as a bundle with Loddlenaut and got each game for around $8.) In all, 10/10. Good game.

10/10 - Would cry like a little girl again

I have about 650 hours on this game, this time is split between PvE and PvP so I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to this game. The PvP official servers can be grindy but if you have a large tribe it isn't so bad. PvE servers usually have changed taming/gathering stats. There are even some servers that are PvP that have altered stats and those are the servers where I believe most will have the best experience. This game is not made to be played alone, you jump into a server with a friend or two and mess around for a while. After a few hours of throwing poop at giant dinosaurs, you might want to get serious and make (or join) a tribe. In the beginning it can be hard but just try not to attract too much attention and you should be fine. It's a great game and I highly reccomend it to anyone who loves dinosaurs and can run it. The only real problems with this game are the big douche tribes that just demo everyone's stuff on some servers and the lag. Other than that this game is absolutely incredible. In its current state I give this game an 9/10. Once the lag is fixed it will easily be a 10/10.
