It's a good game. It starts off pretty charming by dumping you into a mess that you wouldn't ever call a house, and teaches you how to upgrade and clean it.
By the time you've done the tutorials and unlocked the tools, you've got enough cash to move out from your first dump into a new one, and then the game becomes repetitive, but it's not all bad.
Selling to specific tenants for trophies used to be mind-boggling for some of them, but patches have made it easier to differentiate each tenant and eased up their requirements. (Looking at you, Chang and Tarinton.)

The game is easy and relaxing. Going for the achievements gives you enough content to work with.
My main issue with the game is that the later houses come super furnished and require next to no work. I'd have liked to arrive at a dirty, huge house that I would have to redo completely.
