I'd like to begin this review with saying I absolutely adore Outlast 1 & Outlast Whistleblower. Didn't enjoy the 2nd one as much... BUT this one checks all the boxes for me, yes, people may say that it is repetitive and boring. But in a way, you're holding yourself back. Make challenges with groups of friends. OR make up your own rules. The way you WANT to play the game is what makes it fun and challenging. For me it checked all the scariness and jump scares from the OG Outlast. I prefer to play this with friends, but you ARE able to play it alone.

I will also add that it DOES have in-game chat. And they did a hell of a job creating it. Up close you hear your friends and even different areas have echo! And as you get farther and farther apart, You get quieter until you actually switch to a radio, hell it even SOUNDS like a radio!

I don't usually do these types of reviews but they made one hell of a game. And they're still adding stuff! I've been playing this since alpha and it started strong.

Whoever reads this and or reads it through and through, I genuinely hope you give this game a shot. You may not like it, and that's okay! But give it a try, See if you can make it out alive :)

It's very fun to just play with friends and screw around!


Edit: The game is still very fun (I came from Destiny 1 before I joined Destiny 2) But you WILL need to by the season passes to get story/story information. And playing with friends on Destiny 2 is still very fun and everything.. Even if it gets a bit heated during PVP or raids. But If you ALSO want to play by yourself, There are plenty of areas to discover and explore!!
