This game is an experience. Story, visuals, the free roam and gameplay mechanic all come together beautifully. One of my all-time favourites.

Having played this game for a long time, and recently getting back into it on Steam, this is one of my favourite FPS games. Large-scale battle, with hundreds of players makes for some really memorable moments, especially if you're in a really well-organised squad.
This game can be really intimidating to newer players, as a lot of the playerbase has been playing for years, and there's a lot of mechanics that can seem overwhelming at first. However, the gist of the combat will be mostly familiar to anyone that's played a modern FPS before, and understanding of the finer point of the game will come with time.

Overall, this is a great game to play solo, but really shines when you start coordinating with your teammates. Also, it's free, so it's worth giving a go.

The only game where you will be gunned down by 30 muskets while playing Amazing Grace on the bagpipes.

The only game where you will yell "God poops on the Kaiser!" while busting an enemy's face in with a bayonet.

The only game where a single, well placed cannonball will wipe out an entire 20+ infantry line. ;_;7

The only game where marching bands can turn the tide of battle.

The only game you'll see where players actually form impressive formations, such as the infamous cavalry square (rip dragoon scrubs)

The kind of game for people that like games. 10/10 better looking than Arkham Knight

I could go on for a very long time telling you why this game is good. Massive map, 'splosions, more than a hundred different vehicles, 'splosions, the multiplayer, 'splosions...
This is the kind of game you get if you like games. It's worth every penny.
