I usually dont write reviews for any games because i can´t be bothered but i read so many bad reviews about a game that is currently not in a great but good state compared to where it started from.

I spent my entire Sunday playing a Camaign as Germany from 1890-1940 without my game crashing once or encountering any bugs what so ever.
Campaign went from unplayable at the start because of performance/bug issues to a great and unique experience between different nations who all have their little unique ship types and hulls you can built upon.
You can support your ground troops via your ships by strangling the enemys supply lines or blocking their harbour or force a huge clash of steel giants equivilant or bigger than the battle of Jutland.

People complain so much that you cant initiate a battle via parking you navy on top of the other navy or that you cant move your ground forces with a simple point and click and completly miss the point.
You are in the seat of a 19/20 centurie Admiral, you dont have pinpoint accurate data about the current location of the enemys fleet, you know in which sector of the ocean it is positioned and where its supposed target destination is, you can try intercept the other fleet or try to engage it by parking a Navy close by.
The Ocean tiles are gigantic in size so its not that hard to imagine that two hostile fleets would miss each other, just look at historic battles like Jutland where British and German ships were basically right next to each other during the night.
It doesnt bother me that i dont get to instantly engage the other fleet but have to position my Navy instead of just driving onto the other Navy, it adds to the immersion for me.
Obviously you are also only a branch of your Nations military forces, so the army will act indipendent from you, so stop complaining about it.
You can try to support them via convoy raiding, blocking harbours and starting naval invasions but thats about it, if the war goes bad you can pull a 1916 Germany and yeet your fleet into hostile waters and hope for the best.

The game improved so much and keeps getting updated on a regular base, so it keeps adding on top of the already good game you currently have.
There is nothing more satisfying then seeing an enemy ship in the distance blow up from one hit because one of your BBs woke up that morning and chose violence or doing a drive by Piorun style and sinking the enemys equivilant of the Yamato with a tiny destroyer.
