This game is awesome to get good at

this game is beautiful.

all the pleasant little details with small animations on the actual characters to reflect it (like when he opens the map and walks with it and then when he falls and closes it-- its like looking at your phone and walking into a pole on the street); it keeps you so immersed. and you have to have these details too bc the characters can be small or simple looking so im glad for the lack of laziness.

and the soundtrack is lovely. when you walk into different areas, it might still be the same theme but, depending on the feel of the screen, the texture thins and thicc-ens.

oh and the character are great. I love how you only listen to people say what the want to say to you and how the all have an ACTUAL PERSONALITY to them. this sounds small, but consider how many games are really terrible at making you care about the world- even visual novels that are based in spending time with characters sometimes don't achieve the character that a few paragraphs in this game do along with good character design. i never new i could like bugs this much.

beautiful animation, polished gameplay, and an enticing storyline

This is ridiculously boring. Its trying to be meaningful about a concept that has already been known for a long time, and you get people saying: "this is more meaningful than fun" but you could still convey your ideas in a fun (or just interesting) AND meaningful way. its a short game that felt like an eternity due to the boredom

And I mean, its a GAME and its got the tag "Adventure" on it even though when you press left and right you can't even choose when you stop.

This game bores me on so many fronts. The music gets boring, the story is boring, Environments are repetitive and bland, and the gameplay....

It's so disappointing. Having to manually reload every bullet makes it feel so unfair to lose because it's not fast and fun gunplay at that point. It's slow 'hope i don't run out of ammo on this six-shooter so i have to reload almost every bullet of this gun' gunplay. This sounds petty but, when the whole level is after you because you shot ONE bullet, it just feels like what's the point in even using guns then?

And that's another thing, some levels force stealth so immediately you can't use all the features provided because otherwise you get ripped to shreds by the shear amount of enemies. That's coupled with the fact that you can get shot off-screen and due to the poor art, sometimes you can't tell if enemies can see you behind cover.
I get what the artstyle is going for, but adding colour would have made it more clear what objects are what and gave the player better depth perception (using dark colours for shadier places instead of sad looking shadows) or maybe I'm wrong and they didn't have the budget.

tl;dr:

All in all, this game is tiresome to play: the characters move sticky, the weapons are frustrating, the story is pretty cliche (and not in a cool way, some people make it work), boring environments with reused background assets so it becomes repetitive, gameplay is uninspired feeling and forces your hand IMO. If there's on word to sum it all up it's just BORING. boring to slog through.

It says I have installed it but then it said I already owned it? (which I did not). So pretty much my money has been stolen (although i got it on sale so it's not so bad).
I guess don't get this unless you're getting it together with the game itself...
Otherwise, the actual music is good. :)

Simple 10-15min puzzler where your kind of just along for the ride. it's quite relaxing journey of a alien's curiousity...
