Definitely gets more hate than it deserves. Has an actual free to play way of getting rolls for characters unlike Mahjong Soul and a WAY better tutorial for newcomers than Mahjong Soul has ever cared to make. Riichi Mahjong is simply a difficult game with so many rules to learn and keep in mind that no tutorial is perfect/comprehensive enough without being overwhelming.
Besides the tutorial, the custom game settings are far more expansive than Mahjong Soul's with way more local yaku and rules to mess around with. The game loads and plays much smoother than Mahjong Soul and generally the players in Riichi City play faster than in Mahjong Soul, which makes games feel less like eternities. They may not be better, sometimes arguably worse than Mahjong Soul players, but if you are really looking for a hardcore mahjong experience, you're probably logging onto Tenhou anyways.
The game is pretty gooner tier, feels like Azur Lane at times, but honestly it makes me laugh at how ridiculous it is at times more than anything. Turn on the family friendly mode that's apparently in the settings if you don't want that stuff.

Really fun game with a lot to learn and master if you decide to put the time in. Devs frequently make balance patches to tune characters and items, though things already feel fairly balanced in my opinion. I really want to see this game grow and not die within a year with how their marketing and advertising has been kinda lackluster, so give it a try please.

The game has some of the worst servers ever and some really infamous cheaters at the higher ranks. It also has some huge audio issues so people can sneak up on you really easily at times. I enjoy Fortnite more than this game.

Fun and colorful art style, finally an anti-cheat exists, and a baby could probably play it. Play the game for fun and probably with friends for maximum enjoyment.

Hoo boy is this game fun. Other than the funky stealth mechanics that make your shove hostages' heads into walls or run, jump, and crouch past huge crowds of people without being spotted, it's really fun. The movement feels amazing and the guns feel and sound great. That soundtrack really goes hard too, damn. I thought this game would sit in my library forever, but now I regret not playing it sooner.

SeemsGood, this game can be easy to get into, somewhat pay to win though with the golden eagles.

I love this game, I really do. It's a whole lot of fun to play with friends and decent to play by yourself. The tomes and rank calculations systems have made the game more fun and gives you a reason to be more altruistic as a survivor. Crossplay seems to work with no hitches and the free premium-ish currency for cosmetics/characters upon leveling up is a slight saving grace from having micro-transactions. Matchmaking takes some time, even with crossplay, unfortunately, with times into the minutes if you're unlucky. There's also a lot of bugs, which the devs need to address, but some, like myself, may somehow never notice them

There aren't too many active gamemodes anymore, but they all have unique shenanigans that keep the game from getting stale. TTT seems to always be fun and active and could keep you entertained for hours.
