Imma say this right now, the multiplayer is amazing, it's the best I've had with a Halo game by far. None of this custom weapon b*llshit or attachments, just good old Halo.
The guns from the vehicles feel fluid and handle nicely (Mostly) and they feel great handling them. In general it feels like what an original Halo game.

It gave me a feeling of nostalgia and pure happiness when I went into a multiplayer match with my mates. It had given me a giant sh*t eating grin.

But that's where I'm gonna stop jerking off 343 overally glorified d*ck and go to the biggest f*cking elephant in the room.
The battle pass is a Joke flat out, it is the worst battle pass I’ve ever seen in a multiplayer game.

This was the worst mistake they could of made. Imagine 30 or 40 kills in a single match only to have none of those kills go into the progress of the battlepass, all that hard work and effort wasted. Instead you had to kill an enemy with a sh*tty weapon or power up to progress.

It just makes it so tedious to do, making it impossible to most people enjoy the game when everyone is so focused on their own challenges. Now with would be fine for most people who have a lot of free time on their hands. Although for people who are constrained by work or other things it's not gonna be any easy for them.

Not only does it stunt the progress of most players but it makes it almost impossible to finish it. In all honesty I’ve got a better chance at finding a meaningful relationship with a girl and actually see an end with them then finishing the battle pass.


The armour customisation is a joke too. The only way you can ever unlock something nice is by buying the battle pass. Without it you are stuck with the plain and boring starter armour for a long ass time. You can't buy it with the in credits like you could with Reach or unlocked them by playing like with the others Halo games.

The one good thing about multiplayer Halo was that you could customise your Spartan the way you wanted and if you wanted to make them look in a certain way you could. It gave you a goal to unlock the armour piece you wanted. Now if you wanted the armour you wanted, you either grind that ridiculous battle pass or you spend $20 for a white colour palette and an armour set.

Whilst we're on the subject of armour colour, let's talk about the armour colours palettes.
Why... Just why?
Why did they have to give you premade colour palettes. Like being stuck in the same armour wasn't bad enough but you can't choose your own colours like in the previous games? Making you look like every other player currently in the game. There's no uniqueness to any of the colours at all. It's all plain and boring. Honestly did It have to be thrown in with the battle pass? Did it have to be behind a pay wall? What a f*cking Joke. It's just sad is what it is.

Now Don't get me wrong I love it. The game is amazing but I hate the thought of customisation of your Spartan locked behind a paywall and a battlepass that has you do insanely stupid challenges that has ♥♥♥♥ progression.

Please for the love that is all things holy just changes the f*cking progress for the battlepass to EXP from matches and change the colour palettes so we can chose our own. Then I can die happy.

The friend I was suppose to play this with never came back online.

10/10 game would spend another $50 to never play with a friend again.

Nothing beats the feeling of getting PTSD from this game. As you get suppressed, bombed and hunted by a large number of enemies while watching helplessly as your friends die one by one right in front of you

seriously this game was fun untill they added the robot factory where people who spend real money on the game could buy any bot they wanted, then changing how gaining is a grind and you have to play a long time in order to get stuff
