Why worry about death, it’ll come sooner or later.

If you are in control, you’re not going fast enough. Don’t fear speed; speed itself doesn’t harm anyone, it’s the suddenly becoming stationary that gets us. To conquer the fear of speed, push yourself to go even faster until the exhilaration outweighs the fear. Once you’ve overcome that fear, you've gapped it, it’s behind you, and what’s behind you no longer matters.

Hellblade 2 has no story plot related to the first game, but it contains many aspects of the first game. Therefore, playing the first game and understanding the reasons and experiences of the psychoses seen in some parts of the second game is very important to immerse yourself in the story that the game presents as an artistic masterpiece.

Hellblade 1 was my favorite game to date, so I had high expectations for this second game. I can say that the biggest difference between the first and the second game is:

Hellblade 1 was a game with its boss fights, puzzles, and combat, and when you combine it with the dark and sorrowful story of Hellblade 1, it was a masterpiece. But Hellblade 2 feels more like a movie than a game. Yes, there are puzzles again, and the combat is harder compared to the first game. As someone who could parry almost everything in the first game, I found it extremely rare to be able to parry in the second game. Anyway, to stay on topic, there were only two fights in the second game that I could call boss fights, but unfortunately, I can say that they were not of the same quality as those in the first game. However, this does not change the fact that the second game is a cinematic masterpiece.

In terms of story, I think Hellblade 2 was more successful. At least, we had a more general and mature story before us. I especially loved Senua in this second game; she had accepted and made peace with her psychoses and the voices in her head, which resulted in a much more beautiful and enjoyable game experience to watch. For these reasons, it is definitely a game that should be experienced. Hellblade 1 and Hellblade 2 are the only games that have emotionally impacted me so far, so I can say that this second game is on the same level as the first one for me. Ninja Theory did not disappoint again; they have created another masterpiece.
