I've spent over 2,000 hours on this game and can honestly say it is my favorite strategy game of all time. The randomness of events keeps the game dynamic and interesting, and even after thousands of hours, I am still surprised by things that happen. Its a game that forces you to constantly learn and adapt your strategy, because things rarely go the way you want them to. The level of depth to the mechanics forces the player to immerse themselves in the game if they ever want to master it. For example, i consider my understanding of trade to be far above average, yet there are still some things that I do not fully grasp. I also enjoy the unique missions for various countries, however there are some lesser-played nations that have little or no unique missions. I would like to see an expansion of southeast asia, a region which has seen little change over the past few updates. Also, the mechanics surrounding dynasties, while interesting and functional, are rather shallow. An expansion making this more complex would add much more flavor to nations who's play strategy has to do with personal unions.

This game is amazing designed. The soundtrack is my favorite part of the whole game. Although the PC version of the game does not have boss battles from other games that the other platforms have, I still rate great mate, 8/8.
