Unfortunely Despite touted to be a game similar to Goat Simulator

There is so many flaw that it not even funny

First thing first

Despite the fact the game can be play solo, unfortunely the game entirety is pretty much gear toward multiplayer as there is so many puzzle require for specific body part to be remove and there is not proper way to do that aside from begging from RNGesus that you will lost sad specific body

that just fraking suck honestly and actually make it unfun to play the game or even do the puzzle at all

That is also not to say how some puzzle have mind bongly specific body part needed to remove that you really need a friend to remove the specific body part because it so much faster then doing it yourself

Secondly, because the game and it goals is gear to be play with Friends thus it actually took a long time just to finish some goals due to it require a friend or two to actually progress faster

it actually pretty boring to play solo due to that fact, hell it severely limit the fun meter for this game unlike Goat Simulator have done for they gameplay

At the end of the days,

If you here to play with your friends and goof around, i would recommend it BUT

If you here to play it solo, i do not recommend it at all

heck go get goat simulator if you want a fun solo game

Honestly, i get it on why so many people is enjoying this game

The crazy art style this game is going, the weird gameplay it have and all the quirky mechanic this game have provide

But this game is not for me, i don't know why i not having fun with it but the game itself doesn't vibe with me and the gameplay itself feel wrong for me

it could be many thing but i will never find out the reason why as even i have a hard time trying to think for the reason

I be honest, despite playing about 30 minutes or so

there is potential for this game to be great but there is a low of problem need fixing

The chibi animation for both ally and enemy units is very stocky and faulty to the point i can't tell if my units support to hit enemy or not at times

Second is the attack sound for every units is very bad due to it sound like it was downloaded in very low quality with shait sound so i hope that one will get fix

Third is the game will lag badly, very much at random time

Fourth is this game really need OST cause the sheer empty sound except my units and enemy fight is really not fun to listen considering how low quality the attack sound is

this is the only problem so far that need to be fixed but until then, i will refund this game for now

I will purchase it permanently later considering steam sale is ongoing right now and there are games i want to obtain

Don't worry, i will get this game once the steam sale is over and i got extra fund

P.S hope that there will be EN translate later

ok while the voice action, the story and the theme of this game is pretty good and honestly interesting to all hell that would attract people who enjoy Lovecraft like story

it everything else that is the problem,

this game is pretty much like outlast except we have to drag our mouse to open doors, everything feel so slow in term of movement and characters, the A.I enemy feel so dumb that you can run around in circle and then hide thus making them actually forgot where we at

honestly, if Outlast is the exciting and thrill seeking game with scary enemies

Lust from beyond is pretty much the opposite of that which is why i don't recommend this game on a full price

UNLESS there is a really good discount for this game

ok, i play this game for nearly 15 hours and i gotta review for this game

At the currect price it is, i do not recommend this game as all due to the many problem this have

First, this game is badly optimize cause i crash far more often in this game then any other game i play

i have play Total war Warhammer 2 and Middle Earth Shadow of war, those two is far more heavier then this game yet i run smoothly on those game better then Gotham Knights

i have to play this game slow and steady just to even play the game without crashing which is weird for a fast fighting Action RPG like this one that encourage being fast as hell

Secondly,

the enemies is too much tanky and thus take too long to defeat that spread even to the grunts is tanky which mean make the fight last longer then it should be which would be alright but the gameplay loop is somehow more boring then far cry 5 game, a damn shooting game is somehow more enjoyable then Gotham Knight gameplay loop

even with the level system, it barely do shait aside making the enemy drops far more valuable loots and crafting items which is fine but the grinding is a pain in the back in this game to the point i just stick with one characters and carry on which is a problem for a gameplay that got 4 characters to play with

Third

All the characters feel the same no matter what, like there nothing special at all with these characters aside from the knighthood tree but that it

There nothing that make any playable characters special, even they fighting style is just bonk this, bonk that and the tiny few moment of cool finisher, like in Batman: Arkham Knight, all characters have a unique fighting style that will shock and awe the players

THAT doesn't exist in this game meaning you will see the same bonk and kick animation from all the four playable characters
Like hell, Red Hood Barely use his pistol bonk enemy like he did in Batman: Arkham Knight

He just use his fist that is pretending to hold a gun,

There is no reason to play as any other characters at all due to the severe lack of uniqueness or even different animation for each character unless you want to see the unique voiceline and interaction for each mission but even that is a problem cause there is no REPLAY MISSION ARCHIVE meaning you have to play NG+ just to see the different POV and voiceline

in my opinion, that is not worth to NG+ about at all, you better off watching it on youtube

With that

The only positive i can give to this game is it story
not the entire story cause that one have many problem everywhere

BUT there are parts of the story that make me smile and hype like hell
For example ,During the BlackGate Mission

Where the player have to chase after a unicorn balloon that have something important while the Livin' La Vida Loca is blaring out

That was the most hype scenario i could have ever experince

now that we at the end of this review

Do i recommend this game at it full price

HELL NAH, i recommend spending that elsewhere on better games out there

Do i recommend this game on a very good discount

IF you enjoy mindless slow fighting action RPG, sure i will recommend it to anyone play it

hello everyone, i here to just say a few thing word about this game based on my own opinion but know that i play this game offline for a long time now despite what steam may say, i think it time for me to leave a review

The good
- the gameplays look good despite a few problem here and there

-the strategy is pretty alright say at least even tho it have it glaring fault

- the design for all the stuff in the game look very damn interesting for a strategy/RPG games

The Bad
- the fighting and walking animation is wonky at best, if you play strategy of it, you will not notice but doing it in rpg, you will notice it quite fast but compare to other i know off,this is a better deal

- you going to reload back to a certain of a gameplay a good amount of time because of this particular problem that if you screw over by a bug in a quest, it will literally screw over the quest so yea, word of an advice, save before accepting any quest

Ok considering so many people give pro and con,instead i will leave a positive recommend of this game ,flaw but great game to play,

also it very possible to play all mission stealthly depend on your luck and preparation of your agent so always check on they stuff,dont get discourage if you see your target get surround by multiple peoples,you can easily do it so in stealth,you are the predator,find an opening and strike them,take the change and use it fully.use silencers,distract them with the correct language speaking agent so your fellow agent can take it him down,breach with silencer and take them down and etc.

Also,it is possible to do it on loud but you better do it after looting,finding important files and finish the main mission then go loud,it not recommend but you better at least be close to the main mission at the very least before you go hail mary,also while you agents can be badass,they will be overrun by the police,military and etc.it to be honestly,you are a spy,not rambo nor whoever that other guy that keep surviving even the most impossible situation,anyone know which one that was?

I do admit,i truly wish there is several mission where shooting is the only option and there is no swarm of reinforcement coming,maybe a corrupt place or something similiar that they cannot allow police coming in even if they corrupt themsevles,

There is bugs in the game,both good and bad,you all know the most bug common that will be 100% be found in everyone playthrough that for sure,please be calm as i sure the Devs are working to fix the problems in hand,after all a wise man once said "Rome was not Patch in a day" (if anyone get the reference,yea it is an old quote that for sure)

Overall i give the game a 8/10,while the bugs and the weird mission section can threw off anyone from playing the game,it is a fun game to play as an enjoyable experince and honestly the game is probably the first ever game that use this kind of setting in the turn base genre i maybe wrong but i haven't seen anything similiar to this , that what i think about the game but i do hope the devs,fix the game problem and make it better
