I am not a game reviewer, i don't post reviews often at all. However this is my genuine and honest opinion of Cult of the Lamb after completion of the story line and almost 100% completion of achievements.

I have dropped 50 hours into this game since release and would've 100% it aswell if it weren't for the current snail bug. (I will be coming back to 100% it once this bug is fixed). But I have explored and played with every aspect this game has to offer and would like to give this game a proper review.

Graphics: 9/10
The art style in this game absolutely beautiful, you can truly tell the dev team put their hearts into this game on the art style alone. Its cute, its beautiful and it manages to be dark and twisted all at the same time its brilliant. The reason for my 9/10 is that just certain graphics or animations look a bit wonky compared to the others such as shadows only minor things really.

Gameplay/Combat: 8/10
For a majority of the play through everything played as intended however the further i got into the game the more bugs i seemed to encounter. However that's to be expected of a new release. Not everything will be perfect and even now the devs are working on patches and hotfixes for the game. The combat was simplistic yet a fun hack n slash, I personally never experienced to many issues with the combat throughout the game it played as intended which was wonderful. The enemies definitely scale in difficulty as you travel through the different zones providing new mechanics and attack patterns to learn and deal with. Each Mini and Major boss were unique in their own ways providing new mechanics with each fight. The major bosses scaled beautifully throughout the play through as each milestone boss was harder than the previous. My only complaint about the story line bosses was the last boss was just a tad bit to easy for my taste but other than that it was truly a great time. The issues i started to have was in the base building aspect of the game. Bugs popped up left and right such as flooring replacing itself with a previously used one or reappearing after being deleted. The tiles setup is a bit strange its definitely a first for me, I loved it and hated it all at the same time it gave me a challenge for making a symmetrical and nice looking base but genuinely frustrated me at some points trying to make pathing and such look nice. The final aspect of game-play i wanted to talk about was the cult itself I definitely had issues with my members such as giving me quests involving individuals who had already died previously and so on. That's not to say it was unplayable just a mild inconvenience when it came to certain interactions with your members.

Soundtrack: 10/10
I LOVED the music in this game. I loved it so much i started listening to it while doing chores around my place. Every song in this OST is a banger and fits the game perfectly. I don't have much else to add other than i loved the soundtrack.

Overall 9/10
I highly recommend this game, there will always be people who complain about bugs never finish a game and then go around saying how trash it was without ever truly finishing it or giving it a chance. Something to keep in mind is that this game is a new release with a devoted dev team who are listening and working on the issues at hand. The game is not unplayable, you can get from start to finish no issue with mild bug hiccups along the way but nothing so insane that it stopped my progression. This game is a gem of this year and as the devs continue to update and fine tune it the game will shine even more.

Trash game. could have 95% chance to hit and still miss seven times in a row. Every enemy always goes first and lands their hits every single combat. Game is unbalanced and heavily against the player in every aspect.
10/10 would play again.
