I really wanted to like this game. I enjoy mysteries and I really like the art and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure vibes, but the game's lore is VERY dense and often feels impenetrable. Navigating the game's map is also pretty frustrating as it doesn't tell you where each character is on the map (you can back out of the map and get distance and directions to each character) while fast-travel requires (the albeit plentiful) in-game currency.

One of the most satisfying moments of the game comes from using a combination of wall running and jumping to scale up a level while dispatching enemies in one swift acrobatic motion. If the extensive content and responsiveness to player feedback seen in Dead Cells are any indication, there’s a bright future ahead for The Rogue Prince of Persia.

Oh and it works just fine on Steam Deck even though it doesn't have verified status.
