Pretty decent wrestling booking/management simulator. Really scratches that itch if you enjoyed GM Mode from the Smackdown Vs. Raw games.

After being gifted a starter edition copy last year I didn't see myself dumping hours into this game. Boy I could not have been more wrong. This is a tactical first person shooter that utilizes offensive/defensive based operators with their own weapon loadouts and gadgets to use. In my opinion, the things you need to succeed early in this game is decent reflexes and playing patiently. Once you do that, learn the gadgets, maps, and figure out the easy operators to play as you'll be good to go! Highly addictive from the start if you are into this type of genre. Also its best to play this game partied up with people. Solo queue in casual is a nightmare for a bunch of reasons that I'm not going to get into.

However I'll be honest, gameplay wise is rough around the edges. Hit regestration is an ongoing issue, there are the occasional hackers and there are a few toxic players here and there. Also the meta can be unforgiving to new players that don't have access to the DLC operators. Ubisoft is committed to fixing these and other balancing issues however but it can't be overnight. So to wrap it up I recommend this game to the fullest. The yearly DLC that comes out is extensive so there's always new content and maps coming. And at the time that I am writing this review, there are no plans for a sequel meaning this game will have a long lifespan and continued support so you won't have to worry about it being a "dead game" So if you are planning on buying, check your specs to see if you can handle running it (pretty demanding), DO NOT get the Starter Edition (it forces you to grind harder to earn content that would be very easy for other the retail edition) and you probably wont know what this means till you play but DO NOT FUZE THE HOSTAGE.

I have never really considered myself a fan of mystery games. But based on the reviews and anime art-style of this game I decided to buy it while on sale and I was not disappointed. Without spoiling specific plot details the game is about a cast of characters trapped in a school and put in a situation where they are forced to murder and get away with it. If you are looking for a single player experience that will keep you on edge then look no further. Also I highly recomend the anime, Danganronpa: The Animation that retells the story but without filler content.

An addictive Yu-Gi-Oh dueling game that is very free-to-play friendly. If you were a fan of the show, enjoyed playing the game IRL or both, then this game game is for you. The duels are a bit smaller than the real game but that is more of a time-saver than a hindrance. With this being the second Yu-Gi-Oh game to hit Steam, heres hoping Konami will consider porting over some of the classic Gameboy Advance, PS2, Gamecube games like the World Championship games, The Duelists of the Roses and Falsebound Kingdom.

As someone who still watches most of these animated shows its an ok time killer card game. Its simple, it has a decent amount of modes to play and its combo system is creative. However I can't recommend it because it doesn't have true PVP. You'll always go first and play a bot that uses the owner's deck. Until they fix that then maybe the game would be interesting.

Duelyst is a 1v1 card game that also utilizes a full map to add more strategy and planning. The learning curve is not that steep, after the tutorial I pretty much played about 3 practice games to learn a deck, then a few solo challenges to learn other aspects of the game like unit abilities, spells, buffs, and debuffs. After that I felt confident enough to dive right into ranked to play other people. The ingame visuals took me by surprise as your generals/minions/spells are all fully animated in gorgeous pixelated art. As a F2P it is forgiving to the player as you can earn a lot of the card packs and other in game content just by playing. As for what I think could be improved, it could use a difficulty setting in practicing against the computer. If I'm trying to build the perfect deck to play in ranked I would want harder AI to experiment on. Also it could use an ingame chat so you could talk to your opponent as all you can do right now is use emotes or phrases. But looking at how well recieved this title has been so far, I wouldn't be surprised if it rivals other up and coming card games like Elder Scrolls Legends or Gwent.

Until now I've never really found the need to review downloadable content on Steam. Especially for a game that shoves out new DLC almost on a monthly basis with no option for a Season Pass. This is something special though. Usually I always wait for sales for Payday 2 DLC but Overkill did such an exceptional job with this one that I didn't mind paying full price. The highlight of this DLC is that it gives you the character Rust, voiced by Ron Pearlman (Clay in FX's Son's of Anarchy and starred in Hellboy movies) He offers some of the funniest quotes the game has ever had like when killing a sniper. "Suck my ♥♥♥♥ sniper, suck it good" or answering a pager "Sorry, control. Just remembering the time I killed a man with my bare hands." Now as for the Breaker 12 Gauge shotgun it provides, I'll admit the ammo could be buffed as it only gives 21 shots but mark my words, it is a beast. Mantains decent long range damage and accuracy and has a sick looking reload animation when you empty a round. The perk deck is only ok in my opinion as it gives you armor/ health regen with kills that your crew gets but there's better perk decks out there. And of course you also get a chain melee weapon and a new mask but Ron Pearlman and the shotgun offers most of the enjoyment.

A pretty damn good bullet hell/dungeon game. Has a magnificent artstyle. As the title suggests it contains a ton of gun and bullet references and an insane amount of weapons to find and use during your runs. It also doesn't take itself too seriously. The dialogue from the NPCs is crafty and offers a few laughs at times. I won't say exactly what they do but as for the guns you'll too often find one humorous like The Mailbox or the Banana gun and go "How the hell can this kill something?" Then it could end up being your main damage-dealer against the boss fights. My only personal issue though and it is a rare one these days is that this game needs DLC. It's somewhat still fresh but only four playable characters isn't really much and I'm pretty sure there can always be more weapons and items. Also needs online multiplayer. Other than that it offers a lot of playability for its pricetag so I have to recommend it.

This is back when COD was done right. No futuristic gimmicks just straight war. If you are thinking about buying it I recommend buying its vanilla version, just the base game during a sale as its pricetag is a bit much like all the other earlier Call of Duties. But know a few key things about the game. There is no controller support but if you play other FPS like CSGO then learning keyboard and mouse is a breeze but feel free to map out your bindings to make it easier as its crouch and prone keys are slightly off in my opinion. As far as multiplayer is concerned it is not completly dead. According to SteamDB its 24 hour peak will hit around 750-800 players online. But be warned there are a few hackers that cheat the game and glitch lobbies. With its relatively low player count you're also pretty much forced to play specific modes. Team Deathmatch and Free For All are accessible during most hours throughout the day and night. If you get on during its peak times though (check SteamDB.info for when this is and relate your timezone to Seattle's) you should be able to play others like Search and Destroy, Domination, ect. Also the reason why I only recommend the base version is because its DLC maps are pretty much dead.
