I never really wrote a review on many games, if at all. I didn't even give a negative review during the sony drama of HD2. But now that we've succeeded in making sony pull back on its stance with psn linking, I simply have to write a review. If anything, it is an awe-inspiring display of unity for a beloved game.

I dare say that HD2 is more than just a game. It is a program that trains you to work together in a synchronized fashion with other random people to achieve common, yet seemingly unattainable objectives, be it killing 2 billion bugs in half a day, taking back 10 planets over the course of 3-4 days, or making an actual mega corporation pull back on their own scummy policies.

The CEO and the developers of this game simply wanted to make a great game, but I believe they have far beyond exceeded their goals. Not only is this a great game, but Arrowhead made a solid community united together under the game. Sure the devs may have messed up by not being clearer to us players about this PSN policy in the first place, but at least they owned up to it and tried to do right by us by actually leading talks with sony using the data that we the community have provided. They have also always tried their best to keep in touch with the community, which is virtually unheard of in this modern age of gaming. Although there were controversies in relation to how some of their staff communicate, at the very least there is an attempt in communicating and everyone makes mistakes after all. The effort should at least gain some form of recognition.

Conclusion:
Props to the devs, CEO, Arrowhead Studios and the community. This is a great game that once suffered from the consequence of corporate greed. As for sony, do not ♥♥♥♥ with a community that killed 2 billion bugs in half a day. There's more to life other than stocks and shareholders, you numbers fetishists.
