Tactical spaceship battle game where each component on each ship is fully simulated (if your engines are destroyed you can't move, command center destroyed the ship can't receive orders, weapons destroyed you can't shoot, etc). The level of detail in this game is rather overwhelming. The pacing for ship movement is rather slow but in the midst of battle there is a lot to manage. Includes electronic warfare, point defenses to defend against missiles, fires, morale, damage repair teams, and much more. You have an overwhelming amount of customization options down to modules on each ship. I would love to see more "preset ships" to make multiplayer more initially accessible without feeling like I need to understand everything about the game. Regardless, really looking forward to seeing how this game develops.

I'm a big fan of the time-looping mystery/twist genre, so when I saw this one I instantly bought it. I found this one to be more frustrating then the other games I've played. You always expect some bit of repetition with these types but by the end of this one I was sick of it. The skip dialog button doesn't actually seem to make it go any faster. I think the fact that majority of the game takes place in a tiny three room apartment makes it more frustrating. It is easy to get stuck and not figure out how to advance, nor is there much strategy. Basically >try new thing you haven't yet or in different order > it fails or > it succeeds and figure out the next arbitrary step. The point and click interface was rather clunky, sometimes your character didn't do what you'd want or do it too late to matter. Also felt like they stretched a little content into as many arbitrary boring steps as possible. I had to look up a guide at a few key points which were just too far out there for me to figure out. The story left a lot to be desired, and while surprising felt quite cheesy to me. I think I could've wrote a better story and I'm not a writer.

You are in a life pod after a disaster hurdling through space, each individual component is simulated and you have one job, survive. You will need to make difficult decisions, find root cause of various issues by reading the manual and looking up error codes, swap and repair parts, and plan ahead to survive as long as possible. You may need to borrow from less critical systems (making them non-functional) to fix the most critical problems. Great game if you like detailed simulations in space and learning systems.

If you're looking for a short horror game with compelling story this game may be for you. You also need to look past some of the frustrations (character moves too slowly, gets stuck on furniture easily, slow dialogue, frustrations of the character you're playing (why would he take the memo but not read it right away)). I got the game 75% off and felt that was a fair price. I wouldn't pay full price for it.

This game was a masterpiece, and my favorite single player game since Return of the Obra Dinn. I'd consider it more of an experience then a game. You'll want to avoid spoilers for this one for maximum satisfaction.

The game is fun, well balanced, and has a fair learning curve if you want to win consistently.

First, important to note the game is available for free via web browser.

It's a decent time waster if you just want a game to collect items and not think too much. I've found it to be pretty relaxing. The main goal is to collect resources, upgrade equipment (combining lower tiers to get higher tiers) to make your character more powerful. The grid world resets once per hour, and people call out rare items (the grid is the same for everyone so you don't need to compete for rare drops). You can set your threshold on when you resign in combat to increase/decrease the risk of dying. There are also dungeons where you team up with up to four other players to battle some monsters and eventually a boss. Some things I found annoying is you can't change your race without switching accounts and you're given no warning about this whatsoever. The game is also quite buggy and I often need to restart.

If you want a simple game to relax, it is fine. If you don't like grinding and want action, may not be your thing.

Remember those falling sands games you'd play in the middle school computer lab where the different sand types interact with each other? It's like that but in roguelike form, and there's nothing on the market quite like it. There are tons of unique enemies, almost endless customization by mixing traits on the wands, but what really sticks out is how heavily the sands, environment, and traits interact to create unique situations.

There is no game quite like this and overall I think it's a must have, but I have encountered game breaking bugs on multiple runs which make it so I cannot advance, I highly recommend waiting a week to a month so its a bit more polished.

Not enough gameplay elements to be entertaining. I'd love to see more options around the base split/steal game, for example team based where 5v5 and each player decides to split or target an enemy player. Something that brings up the feelings you'd get from playing Sub Rosa where you can cooperate as a team or try to double cross the other team for higher reward at risk of failing. Of course its free so give it a shot if you want.
