This game has had plenty of moments when it could be fun, however the community of this game has quite honestly ruined it more then any meta, bugs, or cheaters. This game has turned into nothing more then a game where one side tries to ensure that the other side can have as little fun as possible instead of just trying to enjoy a asymmetric game for a more casual play. In my last few matches as survivor all I face is the strongest killers, and all I face as killer matches are either meta builds or bully squads who just want to ruin your day, maybe if the community stops this who shtick of which side can make the other more miserable I can change my review.

Everymatch I played it was just a call of duty lobby, or people camping a terminal room. Never got a spy experience and just felt like killing the enemy teams was the only way to play.

Honestly at first I was nervous about buying this game in early access, but even in the glitchfest it can be at times I find a lot of enjoyment in the game. It's fun and a bit rewarding to interact with the characters and each character both in your party and NPC in the game feels very different to interact with. Not only that but the ease of playing like 5E makes me able to run builds or characters I would normally never do with my friend groups as the way they would run their campaigns. If you don't mind playing though all of the glitches I can say you can enjoy the early access to this game, if not I would say that until the full version comes out it might be better to keep playing with friends online.
