So I have played BDO for 1053 hours, pretty long time right? Well today I decided after probably a year of inactivity to come back to it. What do I get? I log into ZERO characters ZERO of my $200+ pearl shop items. I have nothing. This transfer ♥♥♥♥ should be borderline illegal.

We are really sorry to hear you could not transfer your account before the deadline, and therefore your account was deleted.

Following GDPR/privacy data laws, users had to give their consent to transfer their accounts to the new server provider (from Kakao Games to Pearl Abyss) before May 31st, 2021.

We totally understand your frustration regarding this situation, and we wish as many players as possible transferred their accounts to our service. We are bound to follow GDPR/privacy laws, and this means users who did not give consent to transfer their accounts had to have their accounts deleted.

In order to compensate players who did not transfer their account, we are running a special event where you can get premium items just by creating a new account.

They gave you so many months in advance, plus spammed emails that the transfer would happen. Your the only one at fault here.
