Stray is a beautiful game that was well crafted in overall design and complexity. For someone who prefers to get as much "bang for their buck" when it comes to games, focusing on hundreds of hours of game time to be able to make their purchase seem reasonable, this game might not be entirely for you. It is a linear campaign that follows a cat and its journey to return to its home. In total, to finish the entire game on my own without focusing on any of the achievements, took me around 4 hours to complete. While focusing on the achievements afterwards (both hidden and non hidden achievements), this took an extra 2-2.5 hours to complete. This includes all of the achievements (including the one where you sleep for an hour straight in game), except for the "I Am Speed" achievement, which added an extra 1.5 hours roughly at the end as it only took me one try to complete. This totals to about 8-9 hours spent to 100% this game and experience it in its entirety. So no, if games based off replay ability and the ability to spend hours and hours on a single game makes the purchase worth it to you, I do not recommend playing this game. However, if you enjoy striking scenery, amazing world and level designs, unique side character interactions, fun side quests, stealth / puzzle mechanics, and the ability to play as a f*@#ing cat, then this game is 100% worth every penny.

I would rate this game a 10/10, however, the ending did leave me with some questions. This is either a good set up for a second game, or it could just leave the player guessing as to what specifically happens. I won't say much about it due to potential spoilers, so I'll leave the game as a 9.7/10.

Well done overall. Amazing work. :)
