Extremely fun to play with friends, base game is a ton of fun but mods (and especially mod servers) make it better. Every hour you spend playing this game (or not, if you don't like it), is well worth it because it's completely free.
No pay-to-win elements, though you can pay $5 to support the developer who still makes updates to this day.
