This game gave me some real Far Cry 3 vibes. I really enjoyed it! Good story, decent characters, good gun-play, and alright visuals. What I found most unique about this game, is the Asian history sprinkled around the levels.

Yeah, it was good! 8/10 would play the next one in the series.

O boi. This game... I'm going to describe it in the best possible way I can.

Imagine! You are sitting down in a well known steak house. You have heard all about it from the adds around town and even your friends. The chef is, "top notch".

You sit down, ready to eat a good meal, and the server takes your order. You order a simple dish, for a steak house to prepare, which consists of filet min young (medium-rare), green beans, and a baked potato.

The server eventually returns to your table with your meal. And this is what you observe.

The plate: it is a simple white plate (setting of Dishonored). As it should, it complements the meal, and it does not need to be special or unique in any way. The meal itself is what makes the plate special!

The filet (duh... it's a steak house): you observe the steak closely (Corvo as a protagonist). It has minimal seasoning on it which consists of salt and pepper (Corvo's personality). You try to begin your meal by getting a piece of beef in your mouth, only to realize it is somewhat difficult to cut and chew (leather-like aka well done)(Corvo's impact on other characters/how other characters view Corvo). You are now confused. You cannot understand how this establishment could be put on such a pedestal, but fail to deliver on the classic filet. It is not the filet's fault. Its good! But the seasoning and the heat it was cooked to (Corvo's personality and character development) just sorta ruin it (Corvo is also mute... this does not help).

The potato (no not your computer): After trying the steak and being utterly disappointed, it doesn't end there. You decide to use your fork to get yourself some baked potato (all the other characters, including their personalities and depth), only to find out, it doesn't even budge. It's actually raw with no seasoning! Yeah some back story on this potato; the chef decided to put it in the microwave vice boiling it like he should have.
You as the customer are now kinda frustrated. On the outside this potato seemed to be prepared properly (all the other characters at first glance, seem to have some interesting/discoverable depth) but on the inside its hard as a rock (they don't, they are actually really annoying and sorta just push over-like characters)!

The beans (No, please, not the beans!): These actually turned out well! The beans (the story) were well seasoned and yeah, enough said! They are just beans after all (the story was interesting and attention grabbing)!

So after you have tried all of the food on your plate, you await the waiter's return to inform them about the tragedy of a meal you have been served. Sadly the waiter never returns. You are left alone at the table (yeah your date never showed up either... sad...). So you directly confront the chef with your thoughts, which is exactly what I am doing right now. I'm telling you all how it is. Its sad. The disappointing filet, combined with the potato, just suppresses the beans so much... you cannot even think about that meal being close appetizing. You had to push yourself to even give everything (except the beans) another taste.

In all honesty this game had missions that were well executed story wise, but the character and Corvo just made this game feel like a tedious chore and I just wanted it to end! I really gave this game a chance, but I just do not like it! The story was unique and the setting complemented it perfectly. The combat system was nice and felt fresh and original. Still though, no dice.

So after that restaurant experience, I will not be returning to that establishment. And uh yeah! That's the end of my Yelp review. I hope it helps you decide whether or not you purchase it. I wouldn't though. 5/10 would love more beans on a plate.

If you want nostalgia, you have come to the right place! Nothing beats an old MOH FPS. The campaign, which is all I hope you would buy this for, is short. However, at a super reduced sale price (2.50 USD), you should definitely pick up this title for the 2-4 hour campaign.

It's MOH. Shall I say more? 7/10 would use my legs to brace my landing after jumping out of a C-47 again.

A classic!

Compared to the original, the only thing that has changed are the graphics. They look a lot better and it makes the game seem more cinematic than the original. As if your watching a movie or something. Like most mob/mafia themed titles/movies, Mafia II has the same gist. Yeah it may be predictable, but you want that. The classic rise and fall. The yin to yang. I recommend it and all of its italian filled fiascos. DLCs are meh. Joe's Adventure is decent. However, Jimmy's Vendetta... awful (unless you enjoy pointlessly killing and doing similar missions for long periods of time, maybe even days).

Good for what it is! 7/10 would use the buzz saw on Jimmy's silly and pathetic vendetta.

Game was unsurprisingly good. Russia + post-apocalyptic time = a FPS with an excellent story.

Some key details that stood out to me during my time playing this game:

Wiping clean gas mask from blood or rain
Lighting system
Watch timer sounds as if its physically on my wrist (had to double take a few times)
Filter replacement
Keyboard settings (automatically changed my color scheme to tell me when I was visible)
Currency system
Names and cliques in the other factions

I wish the story could be longer, as I feel kinda robbed. Not in the sense of money (worth it), but in the sense of wanting more! Sadly you also play as a mute... but the main character has a good depth that makes up for it.

All and all, its a good game! 8/10 Would check my wrist again. Maybe.

Changed it up again!

Bioshock Infinite takes the player to the skies unlike its underwater counterparts. Don't worry! the gun-play has not really changed. However, the atmosphere has. No longer gloomy and dark but now light and somewhat picturesque (initially) . Adds more of that good good story to the original series, and along with the Burial at Sea DLC, wraps the Bioshock series up nicely (please do yourself the favor of buying these two DLCs). I personally enjoyed this one the most. I felt as if the characters in Bioshock Infinite had depth that has not really been seen yet from the Bioshock series. If you played the other two, you have to end it. You gotta.

Bon Voyage Bioshock, its been good! 9/10 would play the entire series again, and again.

Changes things up.

Now a drill wielding brute, Bioshock 2 gives you a view of what its like to be a big daddy. If you played the first one, then you know the play-style of the game, and the atmosphere of Rapture. If you jump into this game without playing the first one, you wouldn't be lost, but i wouldn't recommend it (helps the player buildup knowledge about Rapture). You get to delve into the inner psyche of a big daddy, while also learning more about Raptures story. I think this is no better than the first one. This story was more intriguing to me than the first one for sure! While you still play as a mute, It seems more natural and almost as if you do have a voice (big daddys do not speak a language recognizable by people) . Performing the duties of a big daddy (siphoning adam from splicers or, "angels") was the best part!

If you played the first one, play this one. 9/10 would use anti-personnel rounds on a big daddy again!

Would you kindly do yourself the favor of giving this game a go?

A scary/eerie-like atmosphere combined with big dive helmet wearing brutes reeled me right in to this game. Who knows, maybe the eve addicted splicers, little girls carrying syringe-like baby bottles, or the thought of being at Atlantis (no not the Bahamas) will get you hooked. Rapture (setting of the story) is a city of filled with all of the above and so much more! Even water! Ocean water! Yeah, welcome to a wild and broken city at the bottom of the ocean!

A classic. 9/10 would accidentally pick up cigarettes again!

Quite a unique game this is! Not many like it!

Are you guilty or innocent? of what you may ask? Well it seems as if your viewing these reviews for a reason. You must be at least a suspect. Hmmm, seems you have some money in your steam wallet or perhaps a credit card waiting on standby. You wouldn't happen to have a knack for solving puzzles and seeing through the lies that spew from others mouths, would you? Jeez, you already have a notebook and pencil ready. You can't even look me in the eyes can you? Yeah, I think its safe to say, your guilty...

Guilty of owning this great game. 8/10 would accuse you, and any other suspect correctly (or incorrectly) again!

From the moment you launch this game, you get a sense of the atmosphere being developed. While the title gives away the obvious, this game has a lot more to uncover once you dive into it!

I bought this game on sale at 15 USD, based on the, "Very Positive" reviews and the in game graphics of the game. The graphics alone can get the you lost in just how beautiful they are. The game also has a camera/photo mode for all those perfect shots. Now, I know graphics alone do not make a good game, but the story is also just immaculate. The sounds and music complement the atmosphere and build upon an immersive experience. This game takes place in a sorta renaissance-like time. While immediately you may think of things like rats, disease, death; this game adds something else to that list, innocence.

I highly recommend this game. 10/10 would run into a pile of rats again! What are you waiting for? Buy it!
