It has gotten quite a bit better lately, keep up the good work bois.

But pleasseeeee, give the historical crowd a good main series game! Rome 2 is still my fav total war game, I miss the non-fantasy warfare, and naval warfare...

As quite the veteran player, over 1500 hours at the time of writing.
Don't get me wrong, i loved War Thunder, yes, loved, Gaijin (the company behind the game) made a couple of terrible mistakes lately.
I play mostly air realistic, and sometimes ground realistic. And yes, it is still a fun game, but Gaijins BS is too much for a lot of people.
1. They had a bad matchmaker, the community wanted it to get fixed, even proposed fixes, but Gaijin made it worse for a part of the available vehicles (the top of the tree) it was a huge failure, Gaijin calls it a succes and will implement it for all vehicles. (or they have already done,i haven't played it for a few days because of this)
2. They refuse to listen to the community, see point 1 for an example. The forum topics that would get a lot of negative comments are moderated, your post first has to be aproved before it is posted on the forum.
3. I don't know about this one, but they are going to implement gameworks into the new dagor 4.0 engine, i am sceptical, but the new engine looks promising nevertheless.
4. Some flight models are incorrect, some ammo loadout are incorrect (ww2 tanks that get post war shells)

Don't get me wrong, i still enjoy the game, but i would not invest any money in it, just because of this, if they fix it and show that Gaijin is a compentent game developer i would happily invest money in it, i think they deserve my money, look at how much of my time is in that game, without costing me a dime.
I would love to see a competitor for War Thunder so they have a reason to listen to their community.
It is a fun game, but don't invest any money in it now, only when they listen to the community!
