So, there is some "controversy" surrounding this game. Many people, including myself, got the game while it was free. This may lead to the over abundance of positive recommendations, but that does not change much in the grand scheme of the game. I agree with the sentiment that it is unpolished, buggy, and sometimes frustrating. However, these are some of the reasons I think that makes the game fun!

The fact that you can kind of randomly get stuck or stun locked can add so much laughter between friends as long as you take the game for what it is: stupid, funny, non-horror horror. Spending time with your friends goofing off and just having a blast going around doing stupid stuff is the core of this game.

While there were some bugs that were "breaking" the game (sometimes the mic system would randomly stop working, we just talked over discord and it still came up in the final video interesting enough). Sometimes the monsters would kind of just beat you to death with no warning (my friends and I looked up the monsters and came up with plans of attack that didn't always work, but the rounds are short. And I wish the film lasted a bit longer in the camera (maybe a future update/buy-able upgrade). I do not think that it completely "ruins" the game.

Overall, this is a game you just randomly get thrown into so it can seem difficult since I had no idea what to expect. The rounds are short with achievable goals and fun for the group. Even if a bug or something ruins a round it isn't the end of the world if you aren't taking it so seriously! It is fun, silly, and stupid which makes it entertaining. I usually stray away from horror games, but while there is a bit of suspense it is not overly terrifying making it a great in between for groups with some who like horror and some who do not!

I was not sure how I would feel about this game when I got it. It was highly recommended by a friend. I have come to love the game. The graphics are beautiful, the story is interesting. The multiplayer is extremely fun as your "level" is based on gear not any type of XP; so a person who has 100 hours in the game can play with someone who has only 3 and it can be balanced.
