It is so broken, there is almost no possibility that it will be patched back to pre-SOTS standards unless years of work are put into it. Nearly every fundamental part of the game has been effected from the spawning of enemies, the behavior of enemies, physics, various softlocking issues, and dozens of bugs tied to FPS of all things. On top of this the new content is jarringly different from pre-gearbox items, survivors, and stages.

The only positives are that the new stages are nice even if they are stylistically different from before, there is great QOL updates such as teleporters being more obvious as a setting, multiplayer pausing, and in-game logbook entries. Oh and of course the amazing soundtrack as always.

It's Fallout in space, if you liked fallout 4 this is it with better more fleshed out RPG elements as well as outpost and ship building. This is nothing like No Mans Sky or Elite:Dangerous so don't buy it expecting that.
